@woof_woof57 @WilliamR83898 @tajjj06 @Realhead47 @wickedsunshines So you belnever that the mother gets to decide to take the life of her child? Who says that child doesn't have an inherent right just like the mother or, any planned baby, to live? She can give tge child away, sure. She isn't forced to love it, but end its life?

@wickedsunshines Whether you wanna believe or not, through they're faith, they believe it would have deep spiritual consequences, and that the act of sacrificing children the way we do is potential demonic. It's just different perspective. Nothing vile about it, in fact they do it out of love.

@retneysholocron @hashtag7thson Nah he's got a point. If they did things how the force worked back in the day, the dark side would slowly creep into his mind, just like how they describe satan or demons in christian theology. That's why you had to become a jedi, to learn to train against the dark side.

@ForeverKuffar @NoWitTwit @muchthunda @_Ochiedike Your right, its not mandatory. But do you believe that the design of the universe, the natural structures you see decribed, like gravity for one, could all just exist for no reason?

@NoWitTwit @RustinHere @muchthunda @_Ochiedike To ask a question like "who is the designer?" you must first establish that a "who" is a mandatory requirement for the thing in question to exist. Its perfectly fine when referring to a car or a watch because we know for sure that those require a who. The universe may or may not.

@LizzieMarbach Also, how could devout followers of Jesus and god, singing with love and passion to honor god, be viewed as creepy by one of his follows? Its just doesn't make sense to me. Logically or emotionally. This is beauty, the opposite of "creepy". I ask you sister, do you know know him?

@LizzieMarbach @EricMFriel What exactly do you define as creepy sister. Maybe this is a mixup in terminology, perhaps you just mean unsettling, or uncomfortable to you? But again, I dont understand. I put on a Gregoroan Chant, and literally feel the power and its beauty.

@LizzieMarbach @EricMFriel So I just listened to the song. Im sorry but i really dont understand how anyone could call it "creepy". Emotionally, tragic, beautiful even. But creepy? Sexually provactive, blood and gore, horror. I see these things as creepy. Slipknot, could come of as creepy.

@VChristianus @darwintojesus I stole and hurt my friends cron the earliest I remember. I tried to kill animals. I definitely was not inherently good or had any law in my heart.

@darwintojesus People who disagree with this will often also argue that children are "good" and they themselves are "good"

When we consider that humans in all times and places share similar fundamental moral frameworks like the Golden Rule, why would we think it's made up? Humans all over the world also share fundamental rules of math and reasoning, are we to assume those are also invented? Of course not. A much better explanation is that humans understand morality the same way we understand standards of reasoning. Rules of inference are something we have an intuitive awareness of and they're common across time and culture. So not only does this argument make a great case for objective morality, it also makes perfect sense within the Christian worldview (which says we all have the law written on our heart).

@darwintojesus From the earliest I remember I was stealing from my friends, and I know i did not "love" my friends like how the bible had taught me how to love. If the law is on our hearts why can children be so selfish?

@RealPostFolder Then how come all of the experiences of hell are described as demons being the "caretakers" and tortures of hell?
