Predictably, it started. The same people who praised the appearance of the middle-aged hag in GoW Laufey are now calling Stellar Blade Blood Rain's main protagonist, Evie, a character for pedophiles. It's everywhere on X, and after getting mocked by the Chuds, they have run to the true pedophile haven, Bluesky, to complain about it. It is a projection, a self-report, and inevitably, those most concerned about "pdfs" tend to be pedophiles themselves. They did it with Eve from Stellar Blade 1, and they are now doing it with Evie. The loudest "think of the children" freaks in the culture war always fixate on fiction and conflate it with reality, while ignoring the actual child victimization happening. And in some cases, later, they are exposed to being actual pedophiles. So... it's time to reset the clock, and inevitably one of these freaks will be exposed for who they really are. Internet history is littered with activists, journalists, and just "content creators" who were critical of fictionalized depictions of characters, and got exposed. Maybe the reality is that "hag fetishists" are using that as a shield against their own... less wholesome perversions.

It’s the haircut choice more than anything. He’s right about the voice actress sounding much older compared to the characters looks, needs to be recast there. But an Asian woman’s looks compared to her actual age vary quite a lot that it can fool a lot of people. This has certainly divided a lot of people, that’s for sure.
