@luchilton This was the most damning thing. Wtf is going on for them to look that lethargic? There needs to be changes to the starting lineup next week for sure. A desperate Canberra away, a flying Wahs, Roosters…blink & it could be 1 & 5. No time to be accepting of that kind of effort.

@offtap93 They definitely need to play through the middle but everything was slow and lethargic today. The defence on the edges was diabolical. With Hiroti and Teig now fit they need to start on the right edge (or Burns switch from left to right & Teig on left). The last try summed it up

@SCMerseysideRed I've said for the last 5 years They need to stop all attacking drills and play one up hold the ball play. The rest will flow. They can't hold the ball it's a real worry

Really poor, flat 1st half..they look so fatigued. Any time we get some good field position we’ve dropped the ball or had a poor kick. Outside of one good piece of work from Stonestreet to slalom through poor defence it’s been awful. The being ripped to shreds on our right edge

@SuperCoachKrupt @SC_is_life Brutal. But will just be my loop option tomorrow after VC Cleary. Will then trade him out next week for Paseka. Quite annoying but what can we do. Up to 6 weeks is too long to hold I think when he likely comes back in from the bench stunting the cash growth.

@SuperCoachKrupt Yes, always the chance he scores well with a softish draw and leave me with egg on my face but still have $315,000 for trades next week and so much cash gen in the team. Iro and Yeo as other possible trade outs if I need even more money but don’t think so.

@SCMerseysideRed Some ppl won’t understand why u are trading Atkinson before his cash incoming but I have no issue with it this season. Love the aggressive trades who bring bulk point potential. Great trades.

@SuperCoachKrupt Right call I think! Have gone 2 guns and one cash grab that hopefully holds as close as possible to the minutes in the first two rounds. Hoping for twin tons for the twin gun halfbacks of NRL SuperCoach, Nicho & Nath.

@NRL_SC_Addicts Have Trell in flex and Nicho/Atkinson half so limited in options to move out of ctw. Not thrilled on Maka at centre and have all the other ctw cheapies due to make cash. $314 k ITB for next week too.

Trades this week 275k itb for an upgrade next week too. Not sure i can trust Leolus minutes now

@SiClancy Yep. I can’t see any way back for him. Not easy circumstances of course but it’s clear it’s not working & he hasn’t got the squad in a physical/mental shape anywhere near the levels required this season. Making a change would not be a classic ‘knee-jerk reaction’.

And despite all the bad results and worse performances, that was the first time today on the stairs waiting to get out, where to a man everyone around me wanted a managerial change. This style of play has to come from the manager. And that’s absolutely damning.

@centrekop Feels like we’ve got the worst counter attack in the league. No one can carry a ball & make the right decisions with whatever man advantage we have. We used to take these chances in our sleep with Bobby/Mo/Sadio. They were so connected.

@SuperCoachKrupt Thanks coach K. I had earmarked KL as a possible trade out if Ponga hadn’t been hurt but I’m happy enough with his base/know the attack will come so happy to keep him. I don’t think Purdue is far off that number 1 jersey but easy move to Luai/Sharpe etc soon. MM to Paseka rd4.

@SCMerseysideRed Was really building to be a shootout Ponga V Turbo, shame how that played out. Love the trade ins Coach. Looking quickly at your team id be looking at Iro, Myles Martin, Purdue as guys to consider moving on for better returns. Even if similar returns for $100-200k less.

Here's a look at where their 2027 draft picks unofficially stand. 2nd 3rd 4th 4th (Malik Willis) 4th (Romeo Doubs) 4th (Rashan Gary) 5th 5th (Quay Walker) 6th (Rasheed Walker) 7th Some of those compensatory picks could be boosted another round, depending on playing time, incentives, etc.

Dale, are you aware of any chance the fixture is moved further due to scheduling (e.g. any FA Cup clashes)? Also does this lock in the home CL QF 2nd leg to 14/4 or would it depend on whether the opponent is Chelsea?

Unpicking the Premier League's fixture announcement around the Champions League games. Means it looks pretty certain that: Arsenal play their UCL games Weds, March 11 and Tuesday, March 17 Liverpool and Tottenham play their UCL games Tues, March 10 and Wednesday, March 18
