I am a victim of Hurricane Helene and my family faced a lot of devastation from it. A year later we are still not recovered. I humbly share this in hopes that it will reach compassionate hearts. Either way, please pray for us 💖 gofund.me/933ed4966

Reminder: you don't have to be loud to make a difference. kindness is powerful. ✝️💖🎀 But like, some of us yell for our normal talking voice. 🤷‍♀️🤪😅 Who do you know that has made an impact on you with their actions over their words. Extra points if you tag them.

Don’t be fooled: God forgives through repentance, not rehearsed sin. If your plan is to sin today, pray tomorrow and repeat - my friend, that’s not repentance. That is a subscription plan.

@RobitMenace His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Trying so hard in our own strength will lead to failure - we need His. To overcome temptation we need to destroy two things - 1. Opportunity 2. Desire. You destroy desire by starving it. Instead of trying, surrender. Praying for you 🫂🙏

@SassinatorSteph Sometimes it's not so easy, I'm still stuck with problems and I'm trying the hardest i can. It's like the depression is blocking any forward momentum, I repent every day and think about Jesus's sacrifice and Heaven more often than anything else.

@Rebirth_Wiz We make the choice to accept the free gift of salvation - being born again produces the transformation, yielding a new heart and new desires. Loving God is a choice. He sanctifies, but obedience has been a choice since the Garden of Eden. You can disagree lol love ya anyway

@SassinatorSteph Alright, but you don't choose to walk righteously. God chooses you and makes you righteous when you believe and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Glory be to God

@TektTimesX Yeah I reckon! But the rehearsed sin I’m pointing out in this post is the disingenuous “I’m sorry God” without change. True repentance absolutely will come with change. Not perfection, we aren’t Jesus. But change indeed.

@Rebirth_Wiz Repentance means changing your mind about sin. Realizing that it’s wrong and turning around and choosing to walk righteously instead. It comes with genuine change of mind and heart. Not saying we will never slip up. But our relationship with sin will not be the same

@sexy_bizzy lol I don’t wanna argue on X, plus I’m exhausted. But read Romans 7:19 - Paul says that the does evil. The word “sin” is translated to “missing the mark” - if Paul, by his own words, did evil.. is that not missing the mark. He was not sinless. Hot take: neither was Virgin Mary 😬

@SassinatorSteph (2/2) "DENY" yourself. Paul was beaten, Imprisoned, harassed, hungry, e.t.c all for FOLLOWING CHRIST. THATS in itself is a "THORN" i hope you get it. The inconvenience is why GOD told him do t worry "MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU" I hope you get it. I could give you a (2/3)

@sexy_bizzy Pointing out the biggest thing that God cares about.. our hearts. With repentance (which means changing our minds about sin, seeing it’s wrong and turning away) we don’t walk in habitual sin. We have small stumbles instead of walking an intentional evil path (2/2)

@sexy_bizzy Sure! The “thorn” in Paul’s side was not elaborated on, but Paul said that after repentance he still did evil even though he did not want to (Romans 7). He wrestled with his flesh just like you and I do. But the major point is that Paul was repentant. My post is (1/2)

So are you thinking tomorrow you’re gonna sinless or???? I defer to Paul tbh “15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[a] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.” -Romans 7:15-20 God bless, buddy🤝

@sexy_bizzy It’s not that we will never sin again, Paul is a great example of that. But Paul hated his sin. When we do not truly repent, we do not hate our sin. We only love the idea of cheap grace.

@SassinatorSteph Now you nailed it DEAR. That's some mistake people often make.... TALMBOUT "I CANT BE PERFECT" even when Our savior EXPLICITLY said we should be PERFECT as our GOD in heaven is. You now hear his "GRACE" lol his GRACE is sufficient for his own PEOPLE O. Not just anybody.

@HkaNerds This is so well put! Listened to it all - 10/10. I make these points often with my community! There is a complete turn around! A change of heart and mind! The Bible says this to be true. It’s not continuing in the same direction and expecting God to save you. We must turn away

@SassinatorSteph I find it helpful to provide this video when people talk about repentance. Not many understand the concept even within the Christian community. Repentance: The First Word of the Gospel by Richard Owen Roberts is also a good resource.
