@RobitMenace His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Trying so hard in our own strength will lead to failure - we need His. To overcome temptation we need to destroy two things - 1. Opportunity 2. Desire. You destroy desire by starving it. Instead of trying, surrender. Praying for you 🫂🙏

@SassinatorSteph Sometimes it's not so easy, I'm still stuck with problems and I'm trying the hardest i can. It's like the depression is blocking any forward momentum, I repent every day and think about Jesus's sacrifice and Heaven more often than anything else.

@Rebirth_Wiz Repentance means changing your mind about sin. Realizing that it’s wrong and turning around and choosing to walk righteously instead. It comes with genuine change of mind and heart. Not saying we will never slip up. But our relationship with sin will not be the same

@sexy_bizzy lol I don’t wanna argue on X, plus I’m exhausted. But read Romans 7:19 - Paul says that the does evil. The word “sin” is translated to “missing the mark” - if Paul, by his own words, did evil.. is that not missing the mark. He was not sinless. Hot take: neither was Virgin Mary 😬

@SassinatorSteph (2/2) "DENY" yourself. Paul was beaten, Imprisoned, harassed, hungry, e.t.c all for FOLLOWING CHRIST. THATS in itself is a "THORN" i hope you get it. The inconvenience is why GOD told him do t worry "MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU" I hope you get it. I could give you a (2/3)

@sexy_bizzy Pointing out the biggest thing that God cares about.. our hearts. With repentance (which means changing our minds about sin, seeing it’s wrong and turning away) we don’t walk in habitual sin. We have small stumbles instead of walking an intentional evil path (2/2)

@sexy_bizzy Sure! The “thorn” in Paul’s side was not elaborated on, but Paul said that after repentance he still did evil even though he did not want to (Romans 7). He wrestled with his flesh just like you and I do. But the major point is that Paul was repentant. My post is (1/2)

@sexy_bizzy It’s not that we will never sin again, Paul is a great example of that. But Paul hated his sin. When we do not truly repent, we do not hate our sin. We only love the idea of cheap grace.

@SassinatorSteph Now you nailed it DEAR. That's some mistake people often make.... TALMBOUT "I CANT BE PERFECT" even when Our savior EXPLICITLY said we should be PERFECT as our GOD in heaven is. You now hear his "GRACE" lol his GRACE is sufficient for his own PEOPLE O. Not just anybody.
