Over the moon excited about this one. @SaraSBaumann created what may be the finest "sketch cover" out there. I handed her a blank cover VeeFriends comic #3, and discussed the comic with her. She delivered a stunning night-and-day back and front cover masterpiece. She used paint and colored pencils (grading this will be fun) to capture the magic of the adventure into VeeWorld, highlighting Decisive Duck and Fearless Fairy who guide Anna out of a dark place and into an exploration of what's possible. This commission is my first Sparky original physical art piece. I cannot wait to encapsulate and frame it - and find a way to display it so I can see the front and back. Sparky, I'm so thankful for you, and for your willingness to share your talent with me. It's a gorgeous little piece with such thoughtful touches, and it will be part of our family for a long, long time.

The Trifecta - not bad for one year(ish). In November of 2024, I bought my first VeeFriends series 1 NFT. I had watched @garyvee and his team on Whatnot and saw something I thought was remarkable for the space: they were onboarding people to their IP every show. They mixed authenticity, entertainment, sales, education, conversation, and connecting - they engaged one at a time or many at once. They made people *feel*. I bought that first VF1 because I saw what I believed was a real business with a bright future. Good people, good products, good intentions. Not perfect - but they were working their asses off to do something really fucking hard. I started streaming that same month. It turns out that I absolutely love it. It uses every skill I've developed over my career and forces me to learn more. So I turned it into a little business, finding my niche and providing a service to people I genuinely care for and about. It feeds my soul, and I wouldn't have known it if it hadn't been for VeeFriends. Now, I get to enjoy onboarding people, too. One of the most underappreciated benefits of VeeFriends is the access to extraordinary networks of individuals and collectors (and through them, inventory and opportunities). In my view, Gift Goats, Access, and Spectacular tokens are the premier network-building tokens. It takes work to build relationships, trust, and understanding, but it's so worth it. In January of 2025 I got my first Gift Goat. Quickly, I set a goal to end the year with a Goat (oops, got one for my wife, too), an Access (Kaww!), and a Spec. I'm "late" to crypto, so these acquisitions are major for me and carry current-market cost basis. It was a very big lift, but I'm a driven mfer. Especially when something interests, educated, and energizes me. I hit the goal with 4 hours left in the year. 2026 is here. That means new goals, investments and challenges. I'm ready.
