The rapid rise of artificial intelligence has triggered an unprecedented expansion of data centers across America. A striking new map from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) vividly illustrates the scale of this growth, showing more than 4,000 data centers nationwide along with the extensive power transmission lines, fiber-optic networks, and supporting infrastructure required to run them. Modern AI systems rely on enormous facilities filled with thousands of servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and powerful cooling infrastructure that operate nonstop. Every AI query, generated image, recommendation, or video consumes substantial electricity, and demand continues to surge as models grow more complex. The NREL map highlights heavy concentrations in states such as Virginia, Texas, and California, where strong fiber networks, existing energy infrastructure, and proximity to major population centers already exist. However, scaling up data centers involves far more than simply building new buildings. These facilities demand vast amounts of land, cooling water, high-speed connectivity, backup power systems, and — most critically — constant, reliable electricity. This surge is placing significant new strain on the United States’ aging electrical grid. Utilities now face a complex challenge: expanding power generation quickly enough to meet AI-driven demand while maintaining affordable and reliable service for homes and businesses. Experts warn that continued growth may require new power plants, major upgrades to transmission infrastructure, and substantial grid modernization. The situation is further complicated by competing national goals. While electricity demand from data centers skyrockets, many regions are simultaneously working to electrify transportation, industry, and heating to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Voters don’t hear messages the way politicians intend them. They hear them through emotion, media, algorithms & culture. That’s the idea behind Carter Intelligence Group. My latest on why anti-Trump messaging alone may not be enough: foxnews.com/opinion/lee-ca…

Gene Kelly filmed the title track in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN with a 103-degree fever. He was producing and starring, so taking time off wasn't an option. It took 2 days of soaking-wet shooting and his suit shrank. It's one of the most iconic scenes to come out of Hollywood.

Takashi Yamazaki says he's worried someone might shit their pants or die watching ‘Godzilla Minus Zero’ in IMAX. “When The Exorcist came to Japan, there was an urban legend that someone died from a heart attack because it was so terrifying. So I mean, it sold a lot of movie tickets. Maybe someone will have to sacrifice their life in the interest of Godzilla Minus Zero.“ (source: youtube.com/watch?v=tRcwwZ…)

My read on the Texas Senate runoff in one line: Tonight tests whether Trump can end a career. November tests whether he can win a state. Same force, opposite problem. More tonight on #FoxNewsAtNight, 11 PM ET. Don’t miss it.
