as a streamer, i hate this. here’s why: 1. i would be terrified that they couldn’t actually afford this. they could put themselves in a horrible position. 2. OR they can’t afford and CHARGEBACK, which Twitch does NOT help with and could potentially put you into debt. 3. Twitch takes 30-50% of this, makes you wonder why they’re raising limits on gifting subs. 🫩 4. i’d love OTHER implementation that actually prioritizes community engagement & bonding. 5. i’d also love if Twitch focused on real issues — like their RECENT CONVENTION DISASTER(S)? 😭
