@Tchandler7105 @ThePageMonroe @TechAthletics @TexasTechFB Calm down Tim, Tech is doing the right thing
English

@ThePageMonroe @TechAthletics @TexasTechFB And individual that needs consequences. And a fanbase that needs put in its place.
English

@reckless_kelley @StatSheetCPA @JohnsonJarret Helping a POS commit NCAA violations is not “help.”
The good news is he will be in prison soon.
English

How dare #TexasTech adapt to current recruiting rules, adhere to court rulings, invest in its program & become relevant?
All of a sudden folks have problems with tortillas, Tech's schedule & now Sorsby.
Why schools are really so mad at Tech: 247sports.com/college/texas-… #WreckEm

English

@Farmer_Shane91 @JohnsonJarret Unless there’s actual proof of this, your statement is pure speculation. Just like it’s speculation that he actually plays a down this season.
English

@StatSheetCPA @JohnsonJarret There isn’t even a mathematical chance they aren’t running the suit.
English

@Farmer_Shane91 @JohnsonJarret Texas Tech had no part in the lawsuit
English

@MRMMcDowell @SeanTPendergast You’re making a bad assumption off a 20 second clip, go watch the full interview and you’d have a different opinion.
English

@sweet_n_tweet @MisterTightlips @SeanTPendergast You realize he might not even play next year right?
English

@StatSheetCPA @MisterTightlips @SeanTPendergast “He has a clinical addiction to sports gambling so let’s keep him in a high trigger environment so we can win football.”
English

@harmonjoshua94 Please tell me about your expierence there? Or wait, you’re just shit talking and can provide zero commentary on a matter you know nothing about.
English

@MisterTightlips @SeanTPendergast Yeah and you know what, he’s eligible to play next season. We don’t even know if he will as well, so all this overreaction is a joke
English

@StatSheetCPA @SeanTPendergast Miss me with that, dude is a gambling junkie, and only played the mental health card when he got caught.
English

@EMAWCaleb I don’t think you’ve done the research to commentate on this..
English

The court order doesn’t force Tech to play him. These people are actually so dumb. I don’t even think it’s being disingenuous, I think they’re just really dumb.
Coach J@rushthedrip
@EMAWCaleb Tech can’t punish him even if they wanted to. The court order prevents that.
English

This is a slap in the face to our entire industry
Ross Dellenger@RossDellenger
Texas Tech AD Kirby Hocutt statement
English

@MisterTightlips @SeanTPendergast Clinical addiction, look it up. Tech is just following the courts orders
English

@StatSheetCPA @SeanTPendergast Understand what he’s going through? Dude was placing bets on his own team. Todd Gurley got a worse punishment for selling his autograph than Sorsby did for betting on games his team played in
English

Everyone at Texas Tech should stop talking.
Deny all interviews. Refute all quotes. Delete the 5 paragraph essays you think will justify yourselves.
Just quietly accept that you are now the villain of college sports.
It’s not worth lighting your personal integrity on fire.
Paul Finebaum@finebaum
"It's crazy...because it's not murder, it's not beating somebody..." Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire defends his QB Brendan Sorsby, who's under fire for gambling on his own team's football games:
English

No, you’ve seen Tech openly support a player fighting an NCAA ruling for a rule he admitted to breaking because they think it will help them win a national championship. All while pretending that they just really care about the player, his addiction and his mental health.
If Sorsby was a deep snapper, he’d get cut and Tech would turn its back on him.
Brennan Baxter@BrennanBaxt
Dan, what exactly has Texas Tech done wrong ? I’d love for America to tell me what rule Texas Tech has broken? All I’ve seen is Texas Tech support a player through a problem but you are more than welcome to tell me where I’m wrong.
English

@Luplonghorn Tech has literally done nothing wrong. Try doing some actually reading
English

There are other ways to support Sorsby through recovery outside of having him start at quarterback for the team
