@Jmclma2 @cs2collector It obviously depends on the items you own. I have high-tiers, low-tiers, stickers, and a few ten thousand cases. So a bit of everything, and my inventory increased nearly by the same percent as the market cap. I just wanted to get across that I don't think it's that inflated.

@StormyLP_CS @cs2collector Can’t really look at it like that, my inventory used to be around 500-600€ it’s now at 1100€

I hope most people realise this number is not really that close to reality. Everytime someone does a tradeup the items used and destroyed do not get removed from any of these databases which highly inflates those marketcap-numbers. This has been going on for years.

@NotOjer I think the majority of the "investment community" isn't the problem, most people who invest in CS items do it for the love of the game, and most of them also collect skins like lowfloats. The problem is "retailers" who think they can make a quick buck, the ones who panic sell.

Anyone else starting to hate the cs community? It’s went from a bunch of autists liking colorful pixels to a full blown investment market corrupted with greed I feel like nobody does it for the love of the game anymore

I used to play CSGO back in the day and had some cool skins, I actually loved them. Nothing super crazy, the best I had was a Dragon Lore that was around 4-5k USD when I used to play. Ended up selling almost everything when I stopped playing aside some cases and random cheap skins. I’ve been reading what Valve has done with their last update and it’s crazy, would love to get the opinion of someone who’s more connected to the CS market since I’ve been out of it for too long. Do you think it’s a great moment to sweep some knives with the panic or more downside is expected? Or do you think skins will never hold value like before? Would love to hear your takes.

@realcryptoface I'm developing games on Roblox, and the platform is incredible and will probably see even more growth in the future, especially with their partnership with Google to implement Google Ads on their platform. I scooped up some shares at around 30$ a few years ago (still holding).
