For the 2023-2024 cycle, the House Incumbent average of in-state financial support was 57.72%, while the Senate was 31.72%. You'll also notice the major drop in in-state financial support from the 2017-2018 to the 2019-2020 cycle. In 2019, Thomas Massie voted YES on H. J. Grok calculated this figure searching through Thomas Massie's donors on OpenSecrets & FEC, where donors' donation histories are publicly available. It's safe to say Thomas Massie is not nearly as popular in his district as X would lead you to believe that he is. He went from over 50% down to 5% during his entire time in Congress.
