The New York Islanders announce plans to relocate their AHL affiliate from Bridgeport to Hamilton, where it will play out of the renovated TD Coliseum starting in 2026-27. This move has been in the air for awhile, and still requires approval from the AHL's Board of Governors.

If you listen to PWHL coaches, players, agents, and GMs there seems to be a shift in belief the PWHL may may expand by only two teams. There's some rumor out there a key Canadian market is no longer in the picture over NHL/venue conflict. Plenty of markets still in the mix.

Weve had a string of story telling play by play broadcasting of late on the PWHL games. I dont want to hear all the stats or what they did in college tell me who has the puck, passed the puck to who, shit on goal by who and most important be accurate in the players names. #PWHL
