There's no need for ground troops in Iran. Arm/train the Iranian people who want freedom from the Islamic tyranny. The US can finance procurement of Soviet-era small arms from Bulgaria, Poland, Serbia and Romania. Those countries still make AK47s, RPGs, MGs, etc. The Green Berets can initially train Iranian many Iranian insurgents to fight the Islamic hardliners in the streets. The Iranians know who the enemy is.
