Godzilla (1998) remains a strange outlier in the franchise, Roland Emmerich treating it like a 90s disaster movie first and a kaiju film second, which is exactly why it still holds onto its own cult following.

@SynthPotato Still never played 3 but 4, Primal and 5 were great! Need to restart 6 and give it another go. Ubi fumbled Far Cry and Watchdogs so bad. Is the Division 2 worth playing? Loved the first one.

It’s wild that there hasn’t been a new Far Cry game in almost 5 years. There was a point where we were getting a new one or some kind of spin-off every 2 years, I didn’t like FC6 and I never finished it but it sold super well Makes it so strange the franchise vanished.

Noah Hawley says his ‘FAR CRY’ series won’t be adapting any of the games as he thinks audiences skip the story cutscenes in those games. “When you play a video game, you only really move forward through the gameplay section, and then you have these cut scenes that you can skip, so when you go to adapt those games you have to be aware that makes the human drama kind of irrelevant to the storyline.” (Source: Deadline)

Liam Rosenior’s time at Chelsea was bad, there’s no denying that. Certain quotes didn’t help. But the way he has been ridiculed by certain people, including some of his former team-mates, is cruel. I hope he is ok and can rebuild himself because there’s a good manager in there.

🚨 More on Liam Rosenior's sacking. Chelsea felt it was their only course of action to try and qualify for Europe and win the FA Cup. Sources say several senior players had lost faith in the Chelsea head coach. A thorough process to find a replacement is expected with Chelsea aware several qualified coaches are available this summer. The focus is now on stability and giving the players the best possible environment to finish the season strongly. Players and staff were informed before the announcement was made. Decision was taken by the club's leadership team. Sources say there is acknowledgement some wrong decisions have been made, not just in appointing Rosenior, but across the season, with learnings now being taken ahead of hiring a new head coach.🔵

🚨 BREAKING: Liam Rosenior has been sacked as Chelsea head coach following five-straight Premier League losses without scoring. Sporting leadership met following the defeat to Brighton and it was determined an immediate change is necessary to try and salvage the season and with an FA Cup semi-final against Leeds next. Chelsea say "Liam has always conducted himself with the highest integrity and professionalism following his appointment mid-way through the season. This has not been a decision." Players already informed. Calum McFarlane will take charge of the team as Interim Head Coach until the end of the season. Chelsea respect Rosenior, but felt results and performances in recent weeks have not met the standards they expect, particularly given there is still Europe and silverware to play for this season. Chelsea had hoped to judge Rosenior in years not weeks, but their hand was forced. Club not yet in active discussions with any candidates at this time.

Completely unacceptable performance by Chelsea. Embarrassing. No organisation, no heart, no fight, no pride, no leadership, no goal threat. It’s like they’ve given up at Brighton. Just because they’re near the beach doesn’t mean they’re allowed to be on it. Shameless performance. No wonder the fans are furious. These aren’t useless players, they’re internationals, which makes their abject showing at the Amex even worse. Overpaid underperformers. Liam Rosenior will probably pay the price for this string of shameful displays and results, he’s out of his depth, but he’s the symptom of the malaise at Chelsea, not the cause. Club needs some grown-ups, experienced football people in the boardroom, in the recruitment department and in the dressing-room. Chelsea are such a contrast to Brighton & Hove Albion, who are so well-run on and off the field. BlueCo has to look, listen and learn. Because Boehly and Eghbali are currently overseeing a self-inflicted shambles. #CFC
