@ColtonBaxter17 As a Sudbury fan, I can confirm JC Lemieux is a great player, good 3rd round target

@702Call @SensBuzz Kesselring has put up 21 and 29 points, don’t think Toure will ever top that or even eclipse 10 points if he plays Kesselring is a solid defensive player at the NHL level Not sure what you think Toure is Watched him in Sudbury and there was lots of ups and downs lol

@TrustInConroy @SensBuzz Kesselring is American and DOESN'T want to play here. He provides LESS offense than Touré would LOL.

There are only 8 Defencemen who fit the mold of: - U26 - Right Handed - At Least 6'4" Ottawa has 1 in Carter Yakemchuk... they could LOWKEY get another one in Micheal Kesselring for the 3rd Pair if they're not willing to commit to Spence Would be a worthwhile upgrade on Jensen while blending well with Zub, Yak and Palo

@702Call @SensBuzz You’re hyping him up way too much There’s a real chance he’s an AHL d man his entire career Kesselring would be miles better and Zub also is

@SensBuzz Djibril Touré will make this team. 6'7 RHD nasty as hell just turned 23. Needs two more years but he'll be worth the wait. Picture Zub but 5 inches taller and mean as hell.

@nitwitschool Yeah i agree and to be honest I don’t want Verhoeff at all over Carels or Bjorck I wasn’t moved by him in the NCAA. I seriously believe Carels is better and will outshine him at NODAK next year

@TrustInConroy D-men are a little bit like goalies. Very few are a sure thing at 18. The fact that Verhoeff has dropped from "could go ahead of McKenna" to "should go anywhere from 5 to 8" is a little concerning.

I'm still strongly of the opinion if the Flames took a chance on Bjorck over Carels or Verhoeff, there is still a really good d-man in MacBeath early second round. The Denver program will only make him better and more NHL ready.

@AlexHoweWPG Perfetti was an unbelievable player in juniors, that was not a bad pick at the time Had 111 points in his draft year Considering how shit some of the picks were, he didn’t do too bad Nobody knew Jarvis would be this good

Rasmus Andersson’s play has taken a noticeable step back over the past season, and his stint in Vegas did little to change that perception. He’s about to hit free agency and will be turning 30 in October. That said, right-shot defensemen aren’t easy to find, and the Habs still need the right partner for Lane Hutson (unless a Dobson–Hutson pairing becomes the long-term plan). Could Andersson be that guy? 🤔

@NickFirahs It's is a attitude problem. Not everyone gets play for for their hometown or teams they want. Its called being professional He won't be on Wolves anytime soon and I wont be surprised if he doesnt play for anyone other then who drafted him Be respectful play where you're picked

With the second pick of the back to back at 33rd overall the IceDogs select Nathan Hewitt. The true centerman, Hewitt is a homegrown talent playing for the Niagara North Stars. He’s such a hard worker on both ends but can score with 10 points in the OMHA playoffs. 40th ranked

@RyanYessie Any comparisons if you had to give one. Maybe an OHL or NHL comparison. Might be hard since they’re 16 but just want to know more and more about his playstyle August in camp is a far ways away

@TrustInConroy He’s got some skill to him. He’s a pro style defenseman, he improved a lot this year huge size, physical but can do a bit of everything.

Sudbury takes Ivan Belikov from Detroit Honeybaked. He developed better than maybe any defenseman this year, every month he got notably better. He has excellent size, very good skater for his size, he has good puck skills and he plays hard. Lots of upside with Belikov.

@RyanYessie Finley Butler is a guy I really like too Obviously Nanubhai would be the dream and a perfect case scenario, I’ll never turn down a 6’5 kid who can produce Especially after seeing what 6’6 Walton did for us, just another unreal player

@TrustInConroy Thanks appreciate it, a lot of great memories from my time there. Personally I think they need another forward, preferably a right hand shot. Nanubhai is a perfect fit IMO. Packalen is a good fit. If they want size Finley Butler is a big 6’05” right winger.
