I thought Hawery flashed real upside once he got comfortable.
11 points in his final 13 games. Brought something the team didn't really have with his vision.
With a good summer I think he could explode offensively.

Possibly big move in the WHL as the rights to Blackhawks first rounder Mason West are traded to Portland. The multi-sport star is slated to join MSU this fall but this move could indicate that he’ll be delaying his commitment and making a stop in the WHL

@IceDogsReport @TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara the size. a 6 foot 7 center who has offensive skill at all makes people's mouth water. Just like Cover it's the potential, same with Sokolovskii. No one wants to be the guy who let them slide if they become what you dream them to be.

Believe Roobroeck to London is dead. Heard that London simply wouldn’t pay even a fraction of the price and Niagara told them to get lost. Roobroeck is in a better spot now that weeks ago and will accept a trade to another option. I believe that option is Pete’s, Ottawa or guelph

@DennisLevesque7 @TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara Yeah exactly. He’s a power forward who doesn’t use his power and needs to develop more polished offensive skills. I don’t see how the draft community would take him in the first round. Too much ifs and betting on potential with no elite skills for me

@DennisLevesque7 @TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara I honestly am probably the least biggest fan of Rogowski. I don’t really see any upside with him. For some reason the draft community believe he’s going to be great but I truly don’t see it in the nhl. OHL he probably take a step forward but not a 80 point guy likely 70. Good PF

The defence core is primed to have someone step up, Brzu will likely be gone, Fimis gone, lots of room for Mitchell, Sokolovskii, and others to take a top role. Also Funck will be more adjusted. McAslan and Wood being there full time

@IceDogsReport @TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara you're probably right about Nordmark but he excites me. Great goal scorer. Cover is about the only one with potential to hit a top 10 player. Not likely that happens but he has that potential. This season for London will ride on Medvedev. Gatto I believe is headed NCAA

@DennisLevesque7 @TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara Yeah I agree that Nordmark is good. Just don’t see the lofty expectations of being their best forward straight out the gate in season 1. Cover I agree has the most potential and who knows maybe he does get another 2 levels next year I just don’t see it happening quick enough.

@DennisLevesque7 @TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara Nordmark like all imports take about a year to get adjusted. Expecting him to even be better than any of the 3 you named is just crazy. I agree all 3 will come back and play big roles but none are top 5 even top 10 players next year like roobroeck is

@IceDogsReport @TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara Marcus Nordmark from last year's import draft. If they can convince him to come over there is our number one forward for this season. Also I would expect Brown, Wassilyn, and Cover to all come back from NHL camps and have a step forward in their game. We do need a center though

@longlivePALLOM They are good at identifying and developing talent but London is going to not be true contenders 3 years in a row without roobroeck. For london that’s awful

@jaymzcole88 Yeah exactly. They needed to offload someone and woll was the obvious choice to get back value. Andrae will be on their second pairing next year. Also get a pick and a youngish goalie who knows if they can develop them

@IceDogsReport Hated the trade at first and I think it was more about not getting enough for Woll but maybe I was overvaluing him. What many people don't seem to get is they had to get rid of someone asHildeby is no longer waiver exempt. Trading Woll saves cap + no way to get rid of Stolly.

Good trade for the leafs. Woll is a middle of the pack starter but with the depth the Leafs have in net why settle for Woll who’s expensive. I love Andrae I think he’s a second pairing guy. Ersson is a depth goalie with some upside of the leafs can develop him.

@TJZielman61 @LDsportsniagara If you believe london currently would win the championship i don’t know what to tell you. London needs an elite player if they want to contend and if they don’t contend they will have to rebuild/retool since a lot of the top guys are leaving after the year

@IceDogsReport @LDsportsniagara Le Gallic, Campeau, Ritson were all over a PPG in the GOHL. They still have 08’s that could come in and fill a spot in Thomas-Maroon, Hickson, and Mews.
Lots of players to fill the roster with before we use assets for a one year rental in Ryan Roobroeck.
