we just got one step closer to free agentic game development, now with MCP
watch codex agents control my vibe coded threejs editor by creating a floor plan, generating 3D geometries from it, adding custom objects for details and handing it over to me (~1:10) to fix rotations and polish the details, then export it and load it in my threejs game

One of the main problems of ai game development is that rapid prototyping of worlds is a huge pain: AI is progressing quickly on generating initial blockouts but depending on the prompt, it is often insufficient on pacing and expected pathing and encounters.
I've built a MCP server for the 3D Editor which does NOT require you to download a million apps and docker containers, simply run the nextjs app and the mcp is discoverable
The agent has (almost) full control over the editor and can take over the work, but the last mile can be done by humans - just how we do with coding!
Tested it yesterday and it cost less than $1 in tokens, and GPT had the initial version done after about 30 seconds but decided that it wasn't the right map structure (i asked for an asymmetric FPS battle arena) and generated a new floorplan
