Really cool moment tonight postgame after VCU upset UNC. VCU head coach Phil Martelli Jr. made a point to shoutout the student reporters that made the trip. Lots of great stuff this time of year, but this was a really awesome, genuine exchange.

What happened to Big 5 basketball? The Big 5 was a glorious thing that folks knew about beyond Philly. Now it isn’t much of anything anymore. The reasons are many. @MikeSielski breaks them down.

So you want to be a sports reporter? Alexa was camped out in NYC for more than a week reporting on WNBA/WNBPA negotiations. Filed a story a few hours ago. Jumped on SportsCenter and I'm sure other shows this morning. She's great because she works so hard at this. Take notes.
SportsCenter@SportsCenter

The WNBA and Women's National Basketball Players Association reached a verbal agreement for a new collective bargaining agreement. @alexaphilippou joined SportsCenter to report the details of the agreement.

VCU's rally from 19 points down (56-37 with 13:50 remaining) is the sixth biggest comeback in tournament history, and is the second biggest second-half deficit ever, behind Nevada's 22-point rally against Cincinnati in 2018. The record is 25 (BYU vs. Iona in the 2012 First Four).

St. John’s head coach Rick Pitino said he's "never heard of that before," in reference to Siena almost beating Duke with five players. Then said: "Just tremendous coach doing that at Siena... And maybe we'll see him at Syracuse."

Was asked earlier by @LeBatardShow which coach in college basketball makes the most of their roster. Didn’t hesitate. Jamie Dixon. TCU made the tournament 7 times from 1952-2017 — that’s 65 years. He’s taken the Frogs to the dance in five of the last eight. Great first half.

Cam Boozer and Isaiah Evans became the first Duke duo to each have 15+ points and 10+ rebounds in a tournament game since 03/31/1990 vs. Arkansas (Christian Laettner, Robert Brickey).

Cam Boozer -- who is the only unanimous selection to the first-team AP All-American team this year -- is the only Division I player in the last 30 seasons to record at least 700 points, 300 rebounds and 100 assists in a single regular season.

Today's game was Duke's second Big Dance win ever when trailing by double digits at halftime. Cayden Boozer scored 19 points in the win. Also: 2001 Final Four vs. Maryland. Carlos Boozer scored 19 points in the win in his return from injury.
