🚨#BREAKING: State of Emergency has been Declared as Two Kentucky Towns Evacuated Following Hazardous Chemical Spill from Derailed Train

📌#Livingston | #Kentucky Currently state of emergency has been declared with two Kentucky towns, Livingston and Piney Branch, following a multiple-car train derailment. A CSX train, carrying hazardous chemicals has derailed, resulting in the evacuation of the mentioned towns. At least 15 train cars were involved in the accident including two sulfur dioxide cars that were breached. Causing the spillage of their contents from the wreckage. One member of the two-person crew was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Police are strongly encouraging residents to evacuate the area.

Came back to #EastPalestine for a few days and we decided after multiple uhaul trips, tons of ordering online for re-housing item, air purifiers, water purifiers, kids school clothes, and so on, we’d get some residents together + have a barbecue for them., They loved the idea of all of us just being able to hang out and spend time together. Not worrying about unloading things, giving speeches, etc #mutualAid comes in so many forms and this was needed for them. Self-care is the # 1 thing neglected during trauma and it was beautiful to sit around tables with people I’ve grown to love as family , and share some laughs, some fun stories , and sums love💜✊🏼 (Not everyone is in the photo per timing)
