There is no justice in the land. The Weaponization Working Group—created to bring relief to Americans targeted by their own government—was quietly dismantled by Todd Blanche. In October, Ed Martin told me there are “10 plays to free Tina Peters and we’ve tried like half of one.” I speak every day with people who desperately need pardons, restitution, and justice after the Biden DOJ ruined the lives of dissenting citizens with ruthless efficiency. Yet under Bondi, the DOJ is burying the EO mandates and the will of the voters under delay and excuses. We know the DOJ’s plan: run out the clock so no one gets the justice they were promised. Patriotism must never become a substitute for accountability. A nation can confront foreign threats while still addressing injustices at home. I support the end of regimes that sponsor terror and oppression, including Iran’s. But strength abroad does not excuse neglecting the legitimate grievances of American citizens, nor does it relieve any administration of its duty to correct past abuses of government power, enforce the law faithfully, and fulfill the commitments made to the people. I take no pleasure in saying this, but “messaging” is no substitute for action.
