@ChibuikeAmaechi @AYINDEJIDE Justice for hungry Amaechi!
Atiku must not be allowed to rig the ADC presidential primary
English

I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced.
I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party.
There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion.
A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. This is not acceptable!

@jzeigbo @NigeriaStories The state can, however, develop functional maritime infrastructure and operate inland river ports. The Onitsha River Port, built along the River Niger, is a major example. It functions by using barges and medium-sized vessels to transport goods from deep ocean ports on the coast.
English

@jzeigbo @NigeriaStories Do you realise Anambra doesnt have a shoreline and requires direct coastal access to an ocean with deep natural waters, it is entirely landlocked. It sits far inland, approximately 287 kilometers (over 150 nautical miles) away from the Atlantic Ocean coast via river channels.
English

BREAKING NEWS: Federal Government has approved certification and compliance processes for five proposed deep seaport projects to reclaim the over 70 per cent of Nigerian-bound cargo transported to other Africa nations.

Ondo State — Olokola Deep Sea Port

@EdesonJethro @ReutersAfrica The usual noise makers always trying to denigrate the country. Most probably part of the syndicate and very bitter that his buddies have been caught. Nigeria will still grow. You guys made even South Africans push immigrants out.Ghana, S.A., Spain, U.A.E. always the wailers.
English

@ReutersAfrica A country led by a drug kingpin bagman? A man who that proceeds of drugs money was found in his bank account, and he had to forfeits it? The world will be shocked at the rate of drug competition bursts still to come.

Nigeria's anti-drug agency said it had dismantled a methamphetamine syndicate in the largest seizure of its kind in the country, seizing drugs and chemicals worth about $363 million and arresting 10 suspects, including three Mexicans. reuters.com/world/africa/n…

@kwakulotteryy Send to @KLM and repost aggressively till you get a response. Boarding times must be respected by both parties so passengers can plan their arrival to the , .airport and so also gate closing times so flights can leave on time.
English

According to a passenger, check-in was closed by KLM at Kotoka International Airport 2 hours before departure, even though the airline’s website states that check-in opens 3 hours before departure and closes 60 minutes before departure. As a result, the passenger reportedly had to purchase a new ticket.
"You are telling me that you close 2 hours before, but it says on your Web page, black on white, that you close 60 minutes before departure".

@end3of6days9 Youre Absolutely correct 💯. Its your space and the blockheads wont read and just park anywhere. Correct action taken by you. They dont care and almost ruined your Christmas. Get no parking boards and put them in the space for the air heads.
English

Imagine this, you’re at your business with your young daughter, and someone has parked right in front of your garage door… in a spot that is very clearly marked “RESERVED PARKING ONLY” with huge painted numbers, bright “NO PARKING” signs, and even extra signage you put up to protect your six stalls.
This dad shows us every single warning they ignored, explains how he normally tries to talk to neighbors first (but the yoga studio door was locked), then has to call a tow truck because he literally can’t leave with his little girl. When the owner finally comes out, she’s shocked they actually towed the car… at Christmas.
There's even a clear sign right on the garage door that plainly says “You will be towed at owner’s expense.” Yet, someone still parked directly in front of it, completely blocking the entrance. So when the owner came out shocked that the car had actually been towed, it really makes you wonder — what exactly did they think was going to happen after ignoring every single warning?
Would you have felt bad for having the car towed even though it was Christmastime or do you think this guy was in the right?

Listening to the governor of Kaduna state speaking about the reality of the southern Kaduna, you'll understand while insecurity was rife there.
He mentioned that a local government called jaba has never seen any road construction😒
In fact he said the local government of the current minister of defense doesn't even have 1 km of road since 12 year but now he has built 24 km to the place.
I have always stated that most banditry ravaged environment has extreme bad road which makes it difficult for security officials to access in case of emergency
Our Governors must do more
He said international agency has recalibrated their insecurity level from red to amber.
Governor @ubasanius should be commended for this

@henryomeife @BSAT_Properties Not true. Unless there is an accident trains in Nigeria are actually on time
English

@BSAT_Properties The Nigerian trains arrive many hours late, and passengers scream "thank God oooooooooo", because sometimes they fail to show up.
English

I was on a train in Tokyo. We stopped between stations. Announcement in Japanese, then in English: "We apologize for the delay. We will resume shortly."
The delay was maybe 3 minutes. Not a big deal.
When the train started moving again, another announcement: "We sincerely apologize for the delay. We were stopped for 3 minutes and 20 seconds. This is unacceptable. Thank you for your patience."
Three minutes and twenty seconds. They measured it exactly. And called it unacceptable.
When I got off at my stop, there were station staff on the platform bowing and handing out delay certificates.
I took one out of curiosity. It was an official document stating that the train had been delayed by 3 minutes and 20 seconds, signed and stamped.
The staff member said in English "for your employer. So they know the delay was not your fault."
I said I'm a tourist, I don't need it. He looked confused. "But the delay affected you. You deserve an apology."
Three minutes. They were treating a three-minute delay like a major incident.
Later I mentioned this to a Japanese friend. They said "oh yes, delay certificates are normal. Trains are supposed to be exactly on time. If they are late, they must apologize."
I said three minutes isn't late, it's nothing. My friend said "in Japan, three minutes is late. On time means on time. Not approximately on time."
They said the train company probably investigated why there was a 3-minute delay. "They will find the cause and fix it so it doesn't happen again."
I kept the certificate. It's framed in my apartment now. A reminder that somewhere in the world, people care about three minutes.

@ThrillaRilla369 Tell him he is invited and you will let him know which cuts are pork. He doesnt have to eat it. You cant inconvenience your other guests and your life. Its rude of him to compel you to do that. Just try and have some beef or chicken for him if you still want him over.
English

@PlotWeaver @tanpukunokami This is the height of stupidity and recklessness! Why destroy antiques and history? You've got to be absolutely insane. Hundreds and even thousands of years of history and little insignificant you, decide to destroy it!
English

@tanpukunokami I remember in 2001, when the Taliban destroyed the 1,500 year old Buddhas of Bamyan.
Terrible people seem to enjoy destroying history.

To those considering moving to Japan, let me be honest with you.
Last week, a 300-year-old shrine in Niigata burned down.
It wasn't the first. Shrines, pig farms, graveyards, set on fire and desecrated.
Things we've quietly protected for centuries are disappearing, one after another.
If you cannot honor our gods, please don't come.
If you cannot eat pork, please don't come.
If you cannot accept cremation, please don't come.
This is a sincere request from us.
If you come to Japan, you will be unhappy, and so will we.

English

@tanpukunokami I agree absolutely. If you go anywhere, respect the host country's culture, their religion and their laws. If you cant, then stay away and dont spoil peoples lives.

@DD_Geopolitics China didn't build a refinery. Alh Dangote a Nigerian Did!!!
English

China built a $20 billion oil refinery in Nigeria, and Europe is furious.
Nigeria, one of Africa's largest oil producers, had no refinery. For decades, it exported crude and imported gasoline at markup. China's Dangote Oil Refinery in Lagos changed that. Now Nigeria is exporting refined gasoline instead of just raw crude.
The refinery is operating at 94% of its 650,000-barrel-per-day capacity, meeting domestic demand with surplus shipped abroad. In March, Nigeria exported approximately 44,000 barrels of gasoline per day. A single shipment of 317,000 barrels reached Mozambique—the first delivery to East Africa.
Production is projected to reach 1.4 million barrels per day within three years, making it Africa's largest refinery.
For decades, Western oil majors kept Nigeria dependent while extracting crude, refining it abroad, and selling it back at a premium. China built the infrastructure Europe refused to. Now Nigeria controls its own energy supply chain, and European refiners are losing a captive market.
This is what economic sovereignty looks like. This shouldn’t surprise any of our subs, we covered this story back in November on DD Geopolitics.

@MotionQ97539 @HermaineM Working? 😁 Domestic staff? Yes baas. No saar
English

@_muhammad_umar_ @HermaineM Do you want me to send you pictures of black people in Oriania???
English

@MotionQ97539 @HermaineM Come on man you cant go 😄. Oh and by the way i'm 100% for kicking out any ahole that is involved in drugs or any form of criminality, thats unacceptable, and immigration should also be tighter. But the wholesale branding of other Africans like everyone is a criminal is wrong.
English

@_muhammad_umar_ @HermaineM There's nothing to figth for in Oriania why must he go there? we have nothing against Oriania it's just a town visited by all races for different purposes, it's a dry and dusty town with nothing to show. No SAn cares about Oriania, it's only you lot
English

@Knick_RSA All this is due to one minority in Nigerias penchant to deal in drugs & other illegal activities like installing useless King's in other peoples countries.
These ones cant fight the Caucasians their true enemies as trump will blow them up. So instead, they fight other Africans
