@ashsbees To what point are you okay with it? Right before the crowning of the head during labor okay?

@LC_life2 Yeah. I do. Restricting access to abortion for any reason is the beginning of abortion ban. You’re either pro-choice or you’re not. That means for any reason.

@ashsbees Any reason.. Are you for abortion if the baby is a girl and mama really wanted a boy this time? Are you for abortion if baby daddy is black and she doesn't want a mixed baby? Are you for abortion if mama had a vaca planned and she won't look good in her instagram photos?

@Lesbiacrus Being the parent of child who is disabled if not the same as any of these things because you are actively choosing and promising to be the care giver of that child by creating them

@ashsbees It's still a false equivalence. If you're never going to be able to deal with disabled people then you can't have relationships with parents, siblings, partners or friends. This isn't exclusive to children. Choosing for s child not to be disabled is specific to children tho

caring for a child with significant disabilities takes patience, emotional stability, money and a strong support system. not everyone is equipped for that, being honest about your limits shouldn’t be controversial.

@KuraiTenshi2012 I’m not mad at them for aborting, I just think people who are very, very sure that they could NEVER care for a disabled child should think a little harder before having children. Because there’s no promise that your able bodied child stays that way

@ashsbees Suggesting that people shouldn’t have children at all “just in case” they eventually become disabled is just as ridiculous as being mad at them foraborting.

@sag1015 That choosing to abort a baby that will suffer because you know it will be born with disabilities is not an immoral act, and of the choice of the parents. However, as a parent, your child could become disabled and you shouldn’t have children unless you’re prepared for that

I love abortion and women having the right to choose if they want to continue their pregnancy or not for any reason

yall… Pro-choice means pro-choice. Even if the fetus was suspected to have down-syndrome... Like I sympathize with a lot of you, but ultimately it NEEDS to remain the mother’s choice. Otherwise, you are actively taking away a woman’s autonomy and forcing her to give birth AGAINST HER FUCKING WILL

@Lesbiacrus When you CHOOSE to have children, you are CHOOSING to provide for them. If you consider yourself unable to care for disabled children, you are not promised able bodied kids just because they are born that way.

@Lesbiacrus I’m going to start throwing tomatoes at people who can’t understand this tweet is pro-abortion, but also expressing that birth deformities aren’t the only disabilities parents may experience with their children and that should be recognized before having them

@ant_rants So I actually did make the decision to abort a fetus with severe disabilities. But thank you so much for your opinion 💗

@HoboJohnso65282 @craigAmbrose11 But you can’t just ignore the factor of being a parent that is you have a child for life. And that they may not always be mentally or physically able just because they are born that way.

@HoboJohnso65282 @craigAmbrose11 It’s not when the argument in question “I can’t handle having a disabled child”. Because disabilities don’t just occur before birth. Terminate the pregnancy if that is what is best for you, and especially if the child will suffer and you can prevent that by aborting.

@veggionee @KuraiTenshi2012 They can have the children if they want to. That is their decision. But your children can become disabled at any point in their lives, and part of being prepared to be a parent is acknowledging that.

@CaseyDoe8 I did not say “all babies should be killed.” I said I support a woman’s right to choose to terminate a pregnancy. But yes, people who did not believe they could Ever care for a disabled child should be thinking on that before getting pregnant in the first place.
