A lot of people saying they would adopt a Down Syndrome baby are just virtue signaling and not actually serious. They have no idea what taking on a medically complex child entails. Maybe if they want to be of service, they should volunteer at their local disability center, instead of the performative outrage over the abortion of two strangers.

Abortion can be the right call in situations, and I am pro choice for all women for ANY reason, that being said - if you don’t think you can take care of a child with disabilities, you are not ready to have children.

I’m a Christian; I know this may be unpopular, but if I found out a pregnancy had Down syndrome or another serious congenital abnormality, I would opt for an abortion.
I have immense respect for parents raising children with special needs, but I also recognize that it's not a responsibility I see myself taking on.
That's my personal choice.
