@silverincali @MAGAMAHACindy Heh, fair enough. Funny, her whole career started as someone who's calling other people out, with that website where she doxed people who she thought were bullies or something. She was on the left back then, but the left came after her so she went to the right. Full circle.

So what exactly has Erika Kirk done that has Candace Owens so angry?

@CaseyDoe8 @MAGAMAHACindy That's what it looks like to me. I don't have proof, of course, but it yells, IMO, of a woman scored/jealousy. But she can be an attention-whore as well. One does not negate the other.

@silverincali @MAGAMAHACindy You think so? I feel like she's just an attention whore and since she was close to Charlie she figured she could milk the hell out of his death. If she's jealous of anything it is the power Erika wields. What's sad is she claims to be religious, but acts in totally immoral ways.

@MAGAMAHACindy She was able to get Charlie's attention and create a family with him. Candace's whole thing is based on jealousy. She wanted Charlie and she didn't get him. What you're seeing is nothing more than a woman scorned.

@MAGAMAHACindy Candace seems to like to insert herself into things in traditional busy body fashion. It works for her because she has no lines she won't cross, she's able to speak intelligently (though not using correct pronunciation), and she's attractive. It's all for clicks and is ungodly.

@SteveSkojec @AureusArena @Zigmanfreud For sure. I know when I get frustrated about the answer it gave I almost always realize it was my fault for not being clear enough. It just answered the question I asked, it didn't understand the context fully because I didn't provide a clean enough prompt.

@CaseyDoe8 @AureusArena @Zigmanfreud I think a lot of under-indexing of AI comes as a result of the opposite of what you've experienced: people who don't know how to ask the right questions being underwhelmed by it.

This “Universal High Income” idea is SO catastrophically bad that it makes me question EVERYTHING about Elon Musk… This is unworkable, & would cause massive inflation, fundamentally destroying the incentive structure of our society (COVID Panic on steroids). I’d like to believe Elon has fallen for this idiocy because he simply doesn’t understand normal humans and he craves free time.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@SteveSkojec @AureusArena @Zigmanfreud For sure. I'm an engineer and the work I've done in the past two weeks would have taken a team of engineers several months to complete, and it probably wouldn't have been as good as what I've built using AI. It's crazy powerful, so long as you ask the right questions.

I watched this podcast with Elon a couple days ago, and he said he used to be very pessimistic about AI, but then he decided to look at the bright side and become a fatalist instead. He said nobody wanted to slow down with AI development despite his warnings, so he decided to step in and try to start steering it in the right direction. He admits it will be drastic change, cause social upheaval, but also usher in unlimited prosperity. There are certainly things to be optimistic about, but cautiously!

@billiceberg @MarcoFoster_ @KyleKulinski Yeah, it's a pathetic fever dream. You'd think based on how many times they fail at basically everything they try they would get the message, but it's delusion, or perhaps this is just his way to make money, fooling morons into giving him clicks out of some tribal jealousy factor

Kyle Kulinski: “We should probably have a national divorce. There should be the Red States of America and the Blue States of America. We’ll come check back in a hundred years and see what’s going on. The blue states would have universal healthcare, free college, a living wage, higher standard of living, their GDP would be much higher. The red states would be fucking catastrophe”

@SteveSkojec @AureusArena @Zigmanfreud I hope you're right! I like your optimism. I'd say I tend to be a pessimist about things like this, but maybe you're right! Wouldn't it be something to not have to worry about money anymore?

The acquisition of power will continue to be a human drive. But I think the acquisition of wealth will become less and less dominant. We have such a hard time imagining a world without material scarcity that we don't know how it will change us. I'm sure people will find all kinds of ways to be terrible about this, but many of us would just be happy to have enough that we can pursue the things we're really passionate about without wasting all of our time doing work we hate.

@SteveSkojec @AureusArena @Zigmanfreud If we were all normal, and monolithic sensible people, it works. But human greed is toxic, and that greed and need to acquire wealth and power is what drives the psychopaths that rule our world to achieve. That drive isn't going anywhere. It's the same reason Communism can't work

So when there are no haves/have nots, what does competition for status look like? Taking Elon at face value, he says that once we get past a certain multiplier of existing economy, all human desire for material goods will be sated. I can’t really imagine that, so I don’t know how to debate the nuances of it. But I can abstractly conceptualize how it could become true.

@SteveSkojec @AureusArena @Zigmanfreud Right, but humans, especially the rich highly competitive ones, love the divide between the haves and the have nots. They like their compounds with their infinity pools, overlooking the city they feel they own. They don't want the riff raff around them. They like the separation.

@Fubar1Fubar1 @RapidResponse47 They're soldiers, that's what they signed up for. When I was in Iraq I survived with no showers, no bed (just my survivability pit), no laundry, and just MRE's for months. I slept in the cab of my Humvee, just tossed my sleeping bag over my head and slept. They're not brittle.

@casarek63879 @diosHD_ @thevivafrei That's where my head goes too. Communism is a great idea that could never be implemented by humans because humans are innately greedy. UHI sounds great, but it falters in the same way as Communism I think. The rich are addicted to status. Remember the saying? "Greed is good."

I don’t understand this argument. What good does “universal high income” do when all that would happen is massive inflation for the cost of goods? Awesome, now everyone’s a millionaire. And a computer now costs $20,000 because every retailer knows that everyone’s a millionaire.

@FishandHodl @VigilantFox @elonmusk You'd think that, but people get restless. You'd think people would work from home and be happy during covid, but nope, they lose their fricking minds. Those that couldn't work and just collected a check, transitioned to burning cities and crime.

I respectfully disagree. It doesn’t address the sense of purpose issue. A lot of people go to work every day feeling needed. Like they matter. Take that away, and all you’re left with is unlimited free time, meaning more Netflix, video games, and consumption of X-rated content over doing something productive. I love my free time when I get it, but if I don’t work for it, I don’t appreciate it. Too much free time without any structure might not be the best thing for humanity.

@elonmusk It's a great idea, but the notion that government won't steal the majority of the money to the point that what the people actually get is the scraps seems unlikely. Government are generally useless parasites that can only function by stealing from others.

@TheDevonWayne @jonbrooks Well yeah, they work hard, stick together and often are crazy smart. The Indians we get in the states tend to the best of the best, otherwise they wouldn't be here, they'd be in a call center in India. The asians did the same thing. The question is, why can't native born do this?

@jonbrooks In a lot of states, what's happening in a migration-fueled 2008-like crisis. For example, H1B visa indians have babies and/or only hire their family/friends Indians at banks, give other indians loans. It's not big enough, yet, but I swear there is an "Indian bubble" brewing

My boomer boss told me he bought his first car with 3 months of savings. Said I should be able to do the same. I make $58,000. A used Honda Civic is $28,000. I did the math in my head while he was talking. Smiled and nodded. Went back to my desk. Opened Zillow for no reason. Closed it immediately.

@thematrixb0t Yup. A scam that you can't opt out of. At least make the payroll theft private instead of ran by a bunch of slugs in government. I should know, I worked for the government with some of the smartest people they had. It's not so much that they're stupid, they just don't care.

This American woman lost both of her parents and went through their Social Security records. They paid in for decades — nearly $1,000,000 combined. Her dad died before collecting a cent. Her mom only received about $32,000 a year, for four years. That’s not a safety net but a scam.
