🗞️ An international team, led by @umanitoba Dorthe Dahl-Jensen and three others, studied fossil plants and sediment from the bottom of Greenland. Results show that most, or all, of Greenland has been ice-covered the last million years and ice-free for a period before this time.

Dahl-Jensen was one of the foreign researchers attracted to Canada thanks to a top-level #CERC (Canada Excellence Research Chairs) grant in 2019. @CERC_CERC @CRC_CRC
