Our new Polar icebreaker is coming together at @chantierdavie! 🚢❄️ Last month, the first superstructure block was moved to the assembly area after leaving the paint shop. It was then turned over and installed in its final position.

As work on the site increases, we strongly urge the public to stay away from the MSC Baltic III work site. For everyone's safety, please follow all restrictions and directions from local authorities and response teams.

#CCGLive – UPDATE on the MSC Baltic III, grounded in Cedar Cove, Newfoundland: As of July 14, 471 of the 472 cargo containers onboard have been removed from the vessel. One damaged container will remain on the wreck until it can be brought on shore.

On July 22, come celebrate the CCGS Naalak Nappaaluk in Kangiqsujuaq, Nunavik (Northern Quebec), as we honour the vessel, Naalak Nappaaluk, and his family. Join us at 11 a.m. at the community harbour for the welcome ceremony, followed by public tours of the vessel.
