Trump this week: “Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion — back to the Stone Ages.” The condition: reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Jesse Kelly calls it an off ramp. Trump needs one. He wants one. He knows he has to get one. Europe won’t help open it. They can own the problem. Lifelong NATO defender Marco Rubio went on Hannity and said NATO may now be a one-way street. During the Iran conflict, European allies denied the U.S. access to military bases and overflight rights. Not for airstrikes. For logistics. Rubio: “When we need their help — not even airstrikes, just access to military bases — their answer is no.” After the conflict ends, NATO gets re-examined. Rubio called it a one-way street. Kelly called it an off ramp. They’re describing the same thing.

@admcollingwood Trump's broader plan and greater objectives WORKED. Panama, Venezuela, now Iran and the rest of the gulf not shipping oil to.... CHINA. Plan worked perfectly. It's now doubtful China CAN go to war with the US in the Pacific.

The reason he doesn't know what to do next is because he has NO good options. He is presented with a Devil's Alternative: accept a defeat that would destroy his presidency, significantly worsen the US strategic position globally, thrust the US out of the Arabian Peninsula and destroy his presidency OR a land invasion which would be massively costly and almost certainly not bring strategic victory. What would you do?

NATO is the most successful military alliance in history, and both Europeans and Americans are safer because of it. If Trump and his sycophants want to blow up the alliance, it is America that will ultimately lose the most. Even a superpower cannot afford to stand alone.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

NATO has frequently forbidden the use of bases and airspace for American adventurism throughout history of the alliance. It's a defense alliance, not an offense alliance. More to the point, they are allies of AMERICA not TRUMP. Trump's unilateral actions are unprecedented in the history of the alliance. They are still strong American allies despite Trump's bullying and threats.

What unique products one can buy with a specific currency. Innovative capacity in the US is as strong now than it's ever been.

- Pull out of NATO. - Close all bases and remove all military personal from the UK, Germany, Spain, and France. - Never protect these countries again. - Stop all trade with these countries. ZERO. - Refuse to share any military technologies and don't allow to them to buy any military equipment. Ever. - Don't share any intelligence with them. NONE. - Tell them they have to provide 100% of weapons and money to Ukraine. - Cut them off completely.

The Denmark detail is the one that should stop people cold. NATO allies had to genuinely war-game shooting down American planes. Some of their military leaders still haven't fully processed having run that exercise. The most popular app in the country identified American products to avoid buying. And now Trump is demanding - his word - those same allies solve the Strait of Hormuz problem his war created. NATO invoked Article 5 once. For us. Their soldiers died in Afghanistan. He told reporters they stayed "a little back." Their governments remember that. They've drawn the conclusions and they aren't reversible.

Keep in mind 🇺🇸 mid-term elections for Congress are coming up in just 7 months. The House is expected to fall under Democrat control & it's possible the Senate will, too, because Trump's war etc is such a disaster. Congress could start to remove him then. He's WAY down in polls
