A founder building a $3.5M education platform told me something I hear constantly. He built the whole thing himself on Bubble. It works. Revenue is growing and his team uses it every day. But he's the only person who knows how it works! Every bug, every feature request, every integration issue routes back to him. He can't take three weeks off without worrying something will break and nobody will know how to fix it. The app isn't failing (it's actually doing its job really well). But the founder is slowly becoming a full-time engineer for his own company instead of running it This happens more than people think. The same technical ability that lets you build the thing yourself is exactly what traps you into maintaining it yourself. You're capable enough to fix anything, so everything gets routed to you. And because you built it from scratch, nobody else has the context to take over without a serious onboarding effort. The app doesn't need to be rebuilt at all. It just needs to be understood by someone else, documented properly, and maintained by a team that can own it so the founder can get back to growing the business.

@erikgoinsHQ it's like how people say they spend 4 hours building a zap for something they do in 10 minutes, once per month... in 2 years it WILL pay off (if there aren't any errors).

I'm not huge on the whole SaaS is dead thing, but I will say one of our devs rebuilt a SaaS product we pay $55/mo for in a day. Not sure the ROI is there, but to reduce dependence on another vendor, it's a nice win.

Hey agency owners and GTM Engineers, let me save you 2 years. After building and scaling 2 SaaS to $1M ARR in < 1 year with LinkedIn, I documented the exact systems we run into one practical SOP database. It’s everything we still use internally every day to land hundreds of leads/ day. What’s inside: - DM setting SOPs - 300k weekly impressions commenting SOP - lead magnet distribution SOP - lead tracking & CRM system - setter scaling system (for agencies) If you want free access, comment “SOP” and I’ll send it over.

I've been waiting for exactly this. As good as Ai is, nothing beats the speed of point and click visual editing when you get granular. Along with element level vibing, this is a game changer. youtube.com/watch?v=XOtHjA…

I work at @base44 , so I see many prompts every day. Most of them are okay. Some are good. But about 1% are genius. I spent the last week analyzing that top 1%. The results were honestly shocking. 🤯 Most users prompt like they are talking to a human: "Make a cool, modern website for a tech company." (Results: Generic, boring, hallucinations). If you want to learn how to prompt and vibe code like a pro Drop a comment below, and I'll send the guide to your inbox. 📥

I'm super proud of my new SaaS - myinsiderpass.com So much hard work, learning, and late nights went into this thing. And the thing is loaded with fancy tech 🤩 I'm looking for a few beta testers that are interested in creating an "insider program" for their audience in exchange for a free subscription. Youtubers, Podcasters, Newsletter owners - anyone really that has an audience, and wants to stay more in touch with them through branded push notifications. I'll help you get setup, and test it before taking it live to your audience. You can see it in action here: app.myinsiderpass.com/pass/my-inside…

@erikgoinsHQ there's also a dopamine hit of getting something working from scratch - and then nobody can tell them their baby is ugly.

One reason Lovable and Bolt are so popular is that most people don't care about having a real business or shippable product. They want to scratch the itch to build and be busy. The AI driven dev tools provide the fastest feedback loop.

@thmawa Are these as simple as just adding steps to ask the LLM to provide follow up suggestions or are these manual or picking from a set?

@erikgoinsHQ I really liked CDMX, but I liked BSAS better. The thing I liked better about CDMX was the the nature was really embedded in the city instead of a bit more separation in BSAS. And the pyramids/archeology is great. But, I had an underlying concern about Montezuma's revenge.

In CDMX for the first time. - unreal street food - excellent history (and well preserved) - friendly people but I have to say, BSAS is better. Anything I'm missing?

A lesson for founders. Your community is your life-blood. A company that’s generous to their community, will have a community that’s generous to them. A reminder from these past days with @boltdotnew team. Not only was it fun. But I think it will pay back for them 10x over.

@elibeachy @_fayewatson_ if it wasn't obvious this was coming, I need to go buy a lottery ticket. I think there's a This Week in NoCode episode where I guess this would happen.

Do you suck at writing landing pages? Steal this prompt and stop sucking. The prompt will create a landing page that you can easily paste directly into your favorite AI dev platform (Cursor/V0/Loveable/Bolt). Step-by-step process in video. Need it? Reply PROMPT and I'll dm the prompt + links to all the stuff you need to copy and paste.

@george_nqu @bubble I just want to be able to save them in a kind of version control in case I accidentally change one or initialize it improperly or with the wrong test values. I guess the .bubble file is fine

@cerealbuilder @bubble I mean, API initialisation values are always saved public, and we document the response schemas, but if you want exact response values you can always download the .bubble file that’s backed up in Buildprint.

@george_nqu @bubble when you initialize an API call you can access the underlying JSON data with the manually enter data option. I want to keep a history of those JSON structures in case on initialization something changes and it needs to be fixed.
