@W_Manhalflife whenever I do faces I have to follow a ref for topology flow because it's just really hard for me to get my head around .. keep pushing ur art you'll find no bad mesh is unsalvageable with enough cutting and welding

There is a misconception that texture-based normals are inferior to detail that is baked to a flat surface.
But inferring curvature, height, and normal data off both is fundamentally the same.

If you’re wondering whether procedural knurls will affect edge wear or masks, the answer is yes, they will! With sync points, added detail contributes to the AO, curvature, and height map bakes, so any mask effects or smart materials you build will be aware of the knurl detail.

How to be 33 and still feel young and lively:
-Exercise frequently
-Focus on eating whole foods
-Avoid processed junk
-Keep alcohol to a minimum
-Don't worry too much about "being an adult" outside of your responsibilities
Basically just take care of yourself and you'll age better :3
