Not another international break in the football season! This campaign feels as if it’s not started yet. So we have to wait until the weekend of April 10th - 12th before the PL resumes. And the week before for the intriguing C’ship developments. Tough on club supporters.
@daleprogramme@officiallydale I think so, though I was impressed by Tamworth on the counter and their forward players. Thought we were good in possession though and created more openings.
Completed the full set of my former clubs this season after being invited back to @officiallydale yesterday.
Great to see the buzz back at the ground, a great performance and a fantastic win.
Ava also drew the halftime 50-50! 💰
She wasn’t so sure about the mascot mind..🥴
Niche Stat of the Day: @officiallydale will end the season having conceded only two goals at home in league games that had a Saturday 3.00pm kick-off - and they both occurred yesterday! (The Southend abandonment doesn't count...)
Niche Stat of the Day: @officiallydale play their final home Saturday 3.00pm kick-off of the season this afternoon on the earliest date since 1980, when that milestone was reached on Saturday 1st March.
Niche Stat of the Day: Although @officiallydale are making their 31st visit to @SUFCRootsHall tonight, it is the first time they have played there on a Tuesday.
Niche Stat of the Day 1: Mani Dieseruvwe has become the first @officiallydale player to score 23 league goals in a season since Steve Taylor in 1985/86. Taylor scored his 23rd goal on 26th April and went on to reach 25.
@Will_Butts@officiallydale There was always a chance it was going to be changed. The tickets story on the o/s on Wednesday intimated as much. I'm sure you can still get to Wales...
@daleprogramme@officiallydale Yes, agreed. I bought Braintree tickets yesterday, arranged other events for the weekend in Wales on Sunday and then they change the KO time. The price of success....😂Could be worse I suppose....
@daleprogramme@officiallydale Very disappointing. Switching KO times is happening too frequently. More consideration should be given to travelling supporters for clubs involved.
Niche Stats of the Day: Tyler Smith's goal for @officiallydale yesterday was the 500th they have scored at home in March and also the 500th they have scored home & away on Saturdays in March, with both stats occurring in all competitions.
Niche Stat of the Day: Today's win over @bostonunited means @officiallydale have completed a club record nine league doubles so far this season, passing eight league doubles set in 2013/14.
David Clough was a lifelong Rochdale fan, following the club home and and away throughout his life.
When David passed away in 2020, he left a large sum of money for the club in his will.
This statue of him was installed where he sat for home games.
Love that! ❤️
