And content from both is shared online, making both events even more public and visible The only significant difference in Kemi Badenoch’s stance between the Lancaster House Iftar in 2023 and the Trafalgar Square Ramadan event in 2026 is her change in attitude She previously accepted public Muslim religious events as normal, but later framed them as incompatible with British cultural norms The shift reflects a deliberate change in her political stance, revealing how thin her principles are and how willing she is to pander to racists and bigots in a declining Conservative landscape just to cling to relevance and build a base of support As a former Conservative voter its tragic to see the depths to which the Conservative party will go
