SHOULD SAY GENETICS. I over wrote the buffer in X again. I have no need to get a blue check. again. I am on linkedIn & facebook... seriously the blue check became meaningless almost 2 weeks after Musk introduced it.

@Paul_Wischmeyer i WONDER WHERE I MIGHT BUY REAL CREATINE? sorry about the caps. I get the FDA & other newsletters to see what my government is doing. They have busted some fake drugs sold in health food stores. Medical grade supplements are needed over the counter?

A SINGLE 20g dose of creatine increases cognitive processing speed by 24.5% within 3.5 hours. A placebo-controlled trial found that creatine rapidly enhanced brain bioenergetics & improved cognitive performance during sleep deprivation, with effects lasting up to nine hours.

yes! an awesome metaphor for how we live.... or how some of us live. others live online to be snarky at others. my nemesis showed up in my life.... he agreed to stay 10 feet away from me in writing. It will not be pleasant if I call the police on him.
Anne Lamott Quotes@AnneLamottQuote

“In the garden, the enemy is everything: the aphids, the weather, time...You pour yourself into it, care so much, & see up close so much birth & growth & beauty & danger & triumph—& then everything dies anyway, right? But u just keep doing it. What a great metaphor!” ~@ANNELAMOTT

FUN? I still get some weird come-ons in bars/coffee bars/social events. someone looking at me & saying, "wow you are actually pretty"? "you remember everything you read"? yes, dude, I especially like men treating me like I am a FREAK in social settings.

When we discovered irisin in 2012 (Bostrom et al), we described its actions in terms of the browning of the white fat and anti-diabetic effects. Here, in collaboration with the Mathis lab, we re-examine this in mechanistic detail. nature.com/articles/s4225…

🐭New Nature Metabolism study (2026) identifies a novel immune-metabolic pathway by which irisin which is an exercise-induced myokine. It reduces obesity and insulin resistance in mice.🐭 🏃 Irisin is released during exercise, cleaved from FNDC5 in muscle 📈 Irisin overexpression in HFD-fed mice: reduced obesity + improved insulin sensitivity 🟢 Irisin increases IL-33 in white adipose tissue 🛡️ IL-33 preserves ST2+ regulatory T cells in adipose tissue 🔬 Adipose regulatory T cells suppress inflammation → metabolic protection Exercise reshapes the immune microenvironment of fat tissue. IL-33/T cell signaling may be a new therapeutic target for obesity-related insulin resistance. This adds a bit more basic science to understanding obesity and metabolic disease as fundamentally an issue of immune dysregulation. 🏁 doi.org/10.1038/s42255…
