@sama I just got the $100 Codex/ChatGPT plan today and I love it. Especially GPT 5.5 thinking heavy. Haven't tried out GPT 5.5 Pro yet but I'm excited with that too

feels like a good time to seriously rethink how operating systems and user interfaces are designed (also the internet; there should be a protocol that is equally usable by people and agents)

"post-AGI, no one is going to work and the economy is going to collapse" "i am switching to polyphasic sleep because GPT-5.5 in codex is so good that i can't afford to be sleeping for such long stretches and miss out on working"

GPT-5.5 and Codex is a combo that gives you superpowers. one unexpected usecase - you can just prompt Codex to do advanced data science on GOV data available online (x.com/exit_dev/statu…) also the more I use it, the more meta my prompts get: ie instead of "do X and evaluate based on Y" its now "come up with the best evaluation for X"
🍓🍓🍓@iruletheworldmo

how are people enjoying 5.5 so far? does it feel like a big pre train, has it unlocked new use cases, are you using it for coding or something else, has it replaced 4.7, is there anything you hate about it spill the tea chat 🫰

@argofowl damn this is actually such a great idea. Codex must call GPT-5.5 itself and not me copy pasting stuff back and forth!
