These questions should be viewed as opportunities to educate these individuals on how a majority of the world population actually view and experience the so-called ‘International’ Law, rather thank ask the TWAIL-ers to change how they explain their experience and thoughts on IL.

Whenever I mention #TWAIL (Third World Approaches to Int'l Law) to colleagues from neighbouring disciplines: 😲 "What is this? Never heard of it." 😡 "You can't say that! It's 2023!" 🤯 "They really call themselves that?" May need even more mainstreaming and/or a name change.
