Two faces on China. A minister who won’t answer questions. A PM who cancels press conferences when things get hard. After his MP makes disgusting comments defending forced labour, Prime Minister Carney’s response is to go ahead with a fundraiser. If he won’t denounce it and won’t cancel it, he owns it. Either way Canadians deserve an answer👇

🟥 Do you ever provide any actual solutions for anything, or is the role of Conservative leaders now just to lie, troll and insult Carney and the Liberals? I don't think you even know what "official opposition" is at this point. 4 election losses in a row has taught you nothing, eh? 😌

It's unbelievable that PM Carney has gotten away without answering why Canadian troops were attacked on February 28 and he said nothing until it was reported in the media late last week. Now he's off on vacation, so we won't hear much more about this. torontosun.com/opinion/column…

I went into a Somali Walmart in Minneapolis to buy one item. Somali worker comes up to me, can’t speak English, but is seemingly demanding proof of purchase. I showed her proof on my phone, but she couldn’t read it She then tried to DETAIN me. So I left. The irony is UNREAL🤣

@nicksortor Nobody has to show a receipt. If they accuse of shoplifting then they can detain you but it cannot be for failure to show a receipt...they would have to suspect you of shoplifting.

Last night, I caught a Wayne County (WV) teacher dropping off dogs on the side of the road. She is also a leftist which isn’t surprising for a teacher, but is surprising considering I thought most leftists were advocates for animal rights. The dogs ran into the woods last night. I couldn’t find them. I went back this morning. I did find the dogs, but they won’t come out of the woods. I will try again by bringing some food to them etc. They are obviously pretty skiddish right now.

Last year where I live someone left a number of dogs, I think it was 5, in a dog cage (kennel) on an old road hardly used by anyone. Once they were found they were all dead. The police are looking for tips on who did this and will press charges but they have no leads. Pretty sick to just leave them to die. They could have let them go free to at least try and fend for themselves.

@AlexpiersonAMP Sorry. Are you opposing the doing of the thing he made part of his election platform and so did PP. Did you not want tax relief. Unclear of your faux outrage. It will still go through parliament. What is your concern?

Perhaps you do not understand how we do things in Canada but here it starts as proposed legislation and gets tested in parliament and then sent to committee for revision and back and forth between parliament and committee until parliament has voted on it three times. Then it goes to the Senate and if passed it goes for Royal Assent. A little more complicated than Carney would have you believe.

@brianlilley Brian, this is normal legislative process. The Cabinet begins the process by signing this Order. Now it goes to Parliament, the Senate, Royal Assent.

Just like the order he signed lowering the carbon tax to zero, this is a fake order with no legal authority. We don't have executive order like this in Canada and an order in council much different. This is performance art being passed off as governing.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Canada’s new cabinet met for the first time this morning. One of our first orders of business: a tax cut for the middle class. Starting July 1, hard-working Canadians will keep more of their paycheques.

We had the funding -the question is did we spend it wisely ? Did we focus too much previously on Trudeau and not prosecute Carney enough in the media ? Your thoughts ?

@rpp_man @PierrePoilievre We have a trade agreement with the United States that Trump signed during his first term in office. Those numbers you see him throwing out are bogus numbers. If they were true then why would Trump have signed the trade agreement.

@PierrePoilievre Very confused , doesn’t Canada charge the US hefty tariffs on US products? Why is it ok for Canada to charge US tariffs but when the US returns the favor, we are the bad guys? Please help some of us understand this mentality.

My message to President Trump: The world needs our products and our expertise. If you, Mr. Trump, do not want them, the rest of the world does. If you choose to go down this road, you will lose the greatest trading partner and friend you ever had. And within 4 years of a Canada First Conservative government, we will build a Canadian economic fortress that will allow us to be strong, self-reliant, stand on our own two feet, and stand up to the Americans. That is what it means to put Canada First, for a change.
