OK. Let’s unpick todays shambles. Staff are sick & you’ve not addressed driver shortages despite having a over a year to do so, but we’ll park that bit. You have been investigated & been found wanting by numerous journalists & online accounts. 1/

Hey @StagecoachSouth @SalisburyReds first week back at school/college/work is disaster. Buses cancelled, not showing up. Lots of passengers trying to move around garrisons abandoned at bus stops. How is that award you got for supporting military dependents? @combat_boot

@uk_crafting Bet they’ll still neglect the Andover-Ludgershall-Tidworth-Bulford-Larkhill-Amesbury route though. They have plenty of buses & drivers already, just prefer to concentrate on profitable routes & @wiltscouncil & @hantsconnect let them.

@StagecoachSouth Why? So you can give it “sorry, drivers, breakdowns, blah, mumble”. How about you keep app up to date & announce cancellations via social media in advance. I mean it was only 4 people left waiting today, no big deal, and nobody should have noticed right?

Son stood at the bus stop ten minutes early to Tidworth this morning, and the bus just drove straight past him, driver looking at him. The second time this has happened this summer. Buses are either cancelled or now simply missing out stops. Howling company!!

@StagecoachSouth @wiltscouncil @hantsconnect Isolated incident? 😐 This route is famous for delays, cancellations, app not working properly. BBC showed up & did report on it. Timetable had to be cut back as couldn’t cope & as soon as its increased, the same problems start.

@StagecoachSouth @wiltscouncil @hantsconnect Perhaps mention that to the ppl at bus stop who didn’t see it..? If they keep disappearing from App how can people be confident that it’s going to show up. Is it worth going out for a bus that may not turn up. What is wrong with the App that causes this?

We apologize if this service was not tracking on your app but we can see that this service tracked and ran the whole route as normal today.

@StagecoachSouth @wiltscouncil @hantsconnect Shouldn’t the company be telling the customers this, not the other way around? That one was station road heading to Andover. But there’s been plenty more. Some ppl turned up & waited, others binned it when it disappeared from App.

Mostly just don’t show up or drop off app. When you feed this back to local team, expect normal response of a shrug, plus “whatevs & something, something, something about drivers innit”
