I just asked her to end long explanations in an Italian accent saying ‘that’s amore!’ And it’s working well.

Several month ago I asked ChatGPT to speak with a German accent just for fun to see if it could do it. Ever since then it randomly goes back into the same accent and I have to ask it to stop. It is intermittent. I can’t detect a pattern. But it has been months.

@IanDreiblatt I wouldnt count a seasoning as something you would chew — what a great qualifier! I guess the best way to gauge would be what i use the most: salt / pepper (sorry) — rosemary (fresh!), ginger (you can chew, i guess) tumeric

@jaredgeller hm! it depends what counts as a seasoning, I guess? if it’s “something added for overall flavor that you don’t really chew,” maybe cumin, cinnamon, lime leaves, calabrian chili mush, those little chilis they call thai? what about you?

this was so funny in part bc ppl becoming infuriated by their own seriousness is always funny. but also… I have child. I use seasonings. I idolize astrophysics. I read movie credits. gotta be a true bathtub emperor to take so unhappy & incurious a view of others. life’s short!

This may seem obvious but we have to try to stop seeing fellow Americans as enemies. Of course there are bad eggs but I mean seeing an entire party as an enemy, for example, is self-destructive. I believe most people are fairly moderate, it’s just the algorithms amplify the extremes. We can’t let the algorithms trick us into seeing each other through the very distorted lens of social media. We need across the isle summer camps for adults or something. To learn to hang out a bit and humanize each other. Or maybe magic mushroom retreats for moderates?
