Lots of great answers to this, & I've read nearly every single one of these books myself - but I phrased poorly, I meant "about" puberty - as in, good books about growing up to be a man; the mental as well as physical changes. (My own kids are grown-up now, asking for a friend)

@NABurkinshaw MK is good … pricey but within expectations. We’ve had a few lessons over the years and also been sledging. Sounds stupid but the “snow” is blisteringly cold so make sure to have proper gloves/kit. Also lots to do in surroundings … bowling, crazy golf etc

Since I have people's attention: can anyone advise on the snowdomes in Milton Keynes or Tamworth? I have a very sad little chap who didn't go skiing so I've promised to find something in the summer. Anyone been to either of these and able to offer insights?

I really abhor this trend of walking out when people are speaking. What happened to listening and offering counter points. It’s like sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting “La la la not listening”. People need to grow the fuck up. My children know how to behave better.

@Gabykoppel @duolingo @jk_rowling Our kids school say they should use @duolingo to back up their language learning. And I came across this in my refresher German session. Our youngest is 11! The tone from the story was definitely not about lion tamers.

Really, all I needed to say was, if you see that @ElkieOfficial is playing anywhere near where you might be able to get to, go and see her sing. You absolutely won’t regret a single minute. May she keep strutting her stuff for many years to come.
