For those who are stuck figuring out which route to take: "I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree in the story. From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked. One fig was a husband and a happy home and children, and another fig was a famous poet and another fig was a brilliant professor, and another fig was Ee Gee, the amazing editor, and another fig was Europe and Africa and South America, and another fig was Constantin and Socrates and Attila and a pack of other lovers with queer names and offbeat professions, and another fig was an Olympic lady crew champion, and beyond and above these figs were many more figs I couldn't quite make out. I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as I sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet." - Sylvia Plath

Islamic terrorist attacks are just blowback from America’s GWOT, which was just blowback from 9/11, which was just blowback from America supporting Israel, which was just blowback from the Ottomans fighting against America and Britain in WW1, which was just blowback from Britain seizing Egypt and supporting Greek freedom from the Ottomans, which was just blowback from the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople and hundreds of years of oppression, which was just blowback from the Crusades, which were just blowback from the Seljuk conquest of Anatolia, which was just blowback from the Byzantine Empire’s expansion into Syria under the Macedonian dynasty, which was just blowback from the Arab conquest of Byzantine Syria and Egypt and North Africa and repeated siege attempts against Constantinople, which was just blowback from the Byzantines no longer paying Arab tribes to defend the frontier against Persia, which was just blowback from an extended Persian invasion of the Byzantine Empire, which was just blowback from 700 years of warfare between Rome and Persia, which was just blowback from Alexander the Great’s conquest of Persia, which was just blowback from Darius and Xerxes’ invasions of Greece, which was just blowback from Athens supporting the Ionian revolts against the Persian Empire, which was just blowback from Cyrus the Great conquering the Ionian Greeks of Anatolia, but before that everybody in history probably got along.

I'm so fed up with email SaaS. Not ESPs, but the SaaS that claims to help them. Identity resolution, inbox placement, etc. I've done some tests with our bigger brands recently and plan to do a pretty big "expose" email in my newsletter soon. I suspect it will save brands 5 or 6 figures in the next year. For some maybe even 7. I'm a little worried from a legal POV so need to gameplan how to do this properly. @RobertFreundLaw curious on your thoughts here. Stay tuned, it's almost done. Will be a spicy one ;)

Need a direct way to sync Claude Skills between my local Claude Code files and Claude/Cowork. Annoying to have to maintain them in 2 places places. All the building blocks in Claude ecosystem are there. Just need them to be more seamlessly connected.

you need to audit the raw data + events manager to see why and what is happening. look at breakdowns on fbc and othe match keys across the funnel compared to your traffic distribution. compare purchase event counts to shopify. also do a site audit of the pixel if you want a set of eyes on it, Im happy to take a look

One of our brands is 95%+ Meta traffic but has 20-30% sales discrepancy between Meta and Shopify. What else can you change if nothing else has worked so far? ❌Reinstate Shopify CAPI ❌New BM ❌New ad accounts ❌New pages/profiles +New domain? +New pixel?

one very interesting and under-discussed impact of AI is why the gains are not evenly distributed across the population. And why I believe it will continue to be highly correlated to IQ. prior to AI, highly intelligent and capable folks were normalized to others by the burden of manual execution. output was largely throttled by manual tasks execution, where highly IQ people were slowed to normie speed button clicking. AI basically removes button clicking, typing and all other manual tasks. and the human context window (cognitive ability) is the new bottleneck. everyone gets a +10x execution bonus, but some people get +50x, +100x, +1000x. as far as I can tell, the limiter is closely correlated to raw intelligence and cognitive ability more than any other single factor. will be interesting to see how this plays out at scale over time. the smartest people are not just a little bit smarter than the average person..they are a LOT smarter, learn much much faster, mental models that far exceed normie brain power
