@millennialsins @Badhombre @TexasBelle 😂 Satan quoted Scripture to Jesus. You don’t get to use my values against me. “To ourselves and our posterity.” How many Haitians are part of that posterity?

Haiti genocided its entire White population in 1804. Haiti stands as the blackest country in the world, exceeding all Sub-Saharan African countries. It is the least ethnically diverse country in the Western Hemisphere. White missionaries from the United States, Canada, and Europe are routinely kidnapped and held for ransom. Over 95% of the population practice satanic Vodou worship. Only 15% of the population have running water, the average annual salary is $1,700, it has the highest incidence of rape and murder, and the highest HIV prevalence in the Western Hemisphere. Haitians chose this path. America is not responsible for absorbing the shocks of Haiti’s self-inflicted crises.

@Badhombre @TexasBelle Haiti is dangerous because it is full of Haitians. The Dominican Republic shares the island with them and it’s an incredibly safe country. Haitians should never be allowed to immigrate here. One is one too many. They all must go back

@jcher78 we know him in the breaking of the bread (Lk 24:55). He is known mystically in confession, in the unction, in the chalice. Visit your nearest Orthodox Christian Church for more details.

You know what bothers me.. I know “about” Jesus but I don’t “know” him. How can I know him? How do I get to truly have a relationship with him? What defines a true relationship? This is what is running through my mind as I sit here drinking my coffee, trying to have a good day

I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts: I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post. When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad. And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree. I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.

@TheMuppetPastor The priests need to put the catechumens on a leash. The “one true church” claim is taking a massive hit with the ortho bros being the face of the religion. “I will know you by your fruit” kinda puts an end to that chatter.

Yes, I think so, but I 💯 agree that many online orthobros are awful! That said, many are either recent converts or not even real orthodox believers. Most don’t know their own theology and present it poorly. I’ve even seen books written to counter orthodox online madness written by priests and scholars. That actual real life orthodox I’ve met are the polar opposite. Humble, kind, Christ centered, and caring. We have our differences but I’ve seen fruit.

@TheMuppetPastor I think the internet is a poor representation of people. Visit a Parish and it will probably be a different experience. We visited a Coptic Orthodox Parish for a bake / garage sale and the people were lovely.

@TheMuppetPastor What makes you believe their gospel saves? They preach a works based gospel pretty blatantly. (I think there can be some that are saved in spite of EO teachings. But those who believe in their church’s teachings are not)

I have heard it said, “God didn’t die for frogs. He died for humans, implying we were worth the sacrifice.” This turns grace on its head. We are less deserving than frogs. They have not sinned. They have not rebelled and treated God with the contempt of being inconsequential in their lives. God did not have to die for frogs. They aren’t bad enough. We are. Our debt is so great, only a divine sacrifice could pay it.

I just came from a youth pastor's conference where it was made statistically clear that the combination of these two things are the cause of this: 1. Gen Z is insanely busy trying to be "successful" and defined by what they accomplish to measure up to societal standards of "making it." Combined with the external pressures of social media and the expectations of friends and family. So they are always tired. 2. They are all either watching pornography or something pornographic. Constantly. If they are not watching it, they are OK with others watching it because it's "normal." This is substantially decreasing their natural sex drive. Along with not wanting to commit to anyone any time soon or have any children until they are well established in life. They are both aware of how hard life is by their parents and know that pornography is negatively harming them. Gen Z is truly unlike any other generation that has come before them.
Jum@JesterJum

67% of Gen Z would choose a good nights rest over having sex. When I was in my teens and early 20s, id walk a mile over broken glass...barefoot to get laid. What is going on with these younger generations? Somethings not right.

@gavinortlund Only the gospel can convince people not academic debates and cunningly crafted arguments, besides you don't even believe the Bible! Once you start believing in the world wide flood and the 6 day creation then maybe someone should care what you think.
