A story of retail fraud, by @InteriorDefine Please RT this :) Interior Define has been using customer’s payments to try to weather their own financials woes under the guise of supply chain issues and is now just blatantly committing fraud.

@chelbie718 @interiordefine Yeah, sorry to tell you, your clients are not going to get it anytime soon. Hundreds if not thousands of orders not delivered and the company seems horribly mismanaged if not about to go bankrupt.

I can confirm that according to an import document database provider, there are NO Bills of Lading from @interiordefine for the entirety of this year. Telling us items "are at the port" is complete fabrication. Has crossed to fraud. Would love to see any proof to the contrary.

Attention. If you ordered anything from @interiordefine this year, customers say payment partner Affirm is now telling customers they have filed for bankruptcy. Contact your credit card company pronto. Read for the scam I think it is after some investigation ⬇️

@shataki @chicago3404 @JestyMarie @interiordefine I felt the same, I have an excellent ID couch from a few years ago and was regretful I wouldn’t receive this couch. But have to assume that their quality will decline with this clear cash squeeze. They’ll have to cut corners somewhere.

@natpitcher @shataki @JestyMarie @interiordefine That’s correct (it’s in the small fine print 😏). I saw that someone from ID filled out the form on my behalf when I said I wanted to cancel and that’s when I immediately called Chase. I refused to fill that form out until I had in writing that I would fully be refunded (not 50%)

@interiordefine - Loved hearing from your CEO yesterday after over 6-mos of waiting for our couch we were told would be ready in 8-12 weeks or less. Not exactly sure how waiting an additional 6-mos is supposed to win my trust back though??

We remodeled our basement and had everything designed around this giant couch, it was killing me to not use the room at all while this dragged on.

@chicago3404 @jo_elizabeth_ @interiordefine Call your credit card bank and explain the situation to get their device. Say you need to dispute. It’s not fraud by their measure. But failure to deliver on promised timeline is grounds for dispute.

@chicago3404 @jo_elizabeth_ @interiordefine The written confirmation said it’d 10-14 business days for the refund. My credit card said I had to wait for that to lapse before I could dispute. I wrote back saying I’d be disputing the 15th day and I do wonder if I made a difference. I got refunded on day 14. Good luck to you!

@TheAntMan09 @interiordefine @Chase Good! Chase was so helpful to me, I called multiple times for guidance, and I think my proving to ID I was about to dispute they rushed my refund. But I never made it to 14 business days after I got the refund notice in writing, so I didn’t need to go through with the dispute.

@meghacleary @interiordefine I’m just really sorry you are going through that. I’m so relieved I got my refund, I think I was on the early side. Now complaints are blowing up as more delivery windows are missed. I think it will only get worse as more people realize their delays…

I ordered an @interiordefine couch in May 2022. Estimated arrival was mid-October to mid-November. Then, last week, I was notified it would take until Jan 2023. I just got an email saying it will now be April 2023. This is insane.
