@politicalmath I was stuck waiting at Chipotle for an online order behind a million others. The guy serving the non existent line wouldn't make the food if already bought. Haven't been back.

It's funny to me what experiences cause people to abandon a brand Ten years ago, I was taking my kids to the beach. I stopped by Jersey Mike's to grab some food for the fam. They took my order but neglected to mention that they had just taken a 20 sandwich order from the guy in front of me. I had already paid. I waited for my food. I checked on my kids (still in the van). I waited. I asked how long. They said "almost". It was not almost. It took 40 minutes. My kids were crying. The entire trip was ruined. I have not been back to Jersey Mike's. I will never go back x.com/SandyofCthulhu…

I'm loathe to the argument that people who we disagree with are grifters. To claim that someone holds ideas they don't sincerely believe is almost unfalsifiable for we cannot, after all, peer inside a human heart. So I'll go ahead and assume that Tucker's current beliefs are honestly held. The easiest explanation for this massive change of heart is that back in 2023, Tucker thought that it was BAD to have to live under a Chinese-led world order. He thought this because he believed the West was worth fighting for. In 2026, he no longer thinks so. What happened was that he has completely fallen out of love with America, and no longer sees any redeeming qualities in the entirety of Western civilization.

Tucker Carlson's MASSIVE FLIP-FLOP on China: From being a threat that should be 'isolated' in 2023 - to saying America should 'share power' with the CCP in 2026.

I continue to believe that there should be more investigation into the leftist militant groups in Utah, especially any of the people who posted about Charlie’s murder before it happened. I also have a very hard time believing that his tranny boyfriend had no foreknowledge of the attack at all. But Tyler Robinson’s own guilt is beyond doubt. All of the evidence, literally all of it, points to him. And that’s to say nothing of the fact that the guy confessed multiple times to multiple people, and was turned in by his parents who, you’ll notice, have not made any attempt to publicly or privately deny their son’s guilt. That’s because he’s guilty as sin. And if he somehow gets let off the hook by a deluded and confused jury, it will be one of the worst miscarriages of justice in the history of our country.

@Empty_America Abortion radicalizes and haunts. It makes me sad. When people go crazy over some harmless unrelated opinion of mine, I assume it is really about hating the party that won't rationalize what they did.

So let's imagine that I (a "legacy" Democrat) decided to run for office. I'm 45, tall, a very good public speaker, own flannel shirts, a hunter, etc. Let's also pretend I didn't have a million insane social media posts. They would go nuts, spend money to stop me. Why? Because I'm pro life and socially conservative. It wouldn't matter at all if I had a good chance of winning, and would generally be willing to support a center left economic platform, such as universal health care, etc.
Jeremy Carl@realJeremyCarl

If you want to crystalize the problems Democrats are having with young White men, consider, that, to the best of my knowledge, Sarah McBride is the only White Christian Democrat man under 40 in Congress.

@IMAO_ The response pretty much ignores Catholic ideas which would make sense if the prompter has been uninterested in those

This appears to be genuine and is some surprisingly good apologetics. I use AI all the time for Bible study questions since it’s trained on every commentary ever made, but I don’t usually ask its opinion. Still, it usually talks like a believer (not neutral or skeptical like a Wikipedia article), but I assumed that’s its training to flatter the user.

Educated Dems keep falling in love with candidates--Kerry, Walz, Talarico--whose bios code conservative-friendly *to educated Dems*. They cannot see distinctions that are extremely visible to the folks they're trying to appeal to, or even imagine such distinctions exist.
Sean T at RCP@SeanTrende

Yes, Talarico is a devout Christian attending a seminary, and that genuinely does help, but he's a quite liberal variant of a Christian, and evangelicals will know *exactly* what going to a PCUSA seminary means. Again, can win. But his issues are deeper than just "Texas=red."

The internet bullied the Bills into a terrible trade and contract, even if DJ Moore is a good fit. A 2nd round pick?!?! And then they agree to guaranteeing some of his 2028 money?!?! This is quickly turning into a 3-year, $74M deal for a declining WR2.

I have a curiosity: why is it the case that it is easier to get MAID in Canada than it is to access experimental treatments which carry a higher risk? In the past, I used to think ppl do not like "deaths caused by the medical system", but for MAID the prob of death is 100%...

I don't know Erika Kirk. I do know Candace Owens. Erika met the moment of her husband's assassination with a grace unimaginable. Candace met the moment of her so-called friend's assassination as she meets every moment -- focused on herself and her insatiable hunger for fame and aggrandizement. If you find yourself believing the latter in her smears of the former, please know you are being manipulated by one of the best in the business. But you're still wrong and in the wrong. May God open your eyes to the evil you are participating in, and may God bless Erika Kirk.

Nothing I have ever said or done could lead a sane person to believe that I am a Zionist. However. If someone exults in the death of a friend of mine, yes I will block them. If you wouldn’t do the same in my position, you can fuck off too.
