I keep thinking I miss having someone like Steve Jobs in the industry. He had some standards. He cared about quality, coherence, and making great products. He could be ruthless and he had plenty of flaws, but it still felt like he and Apple were trying to make something genuinely great above all else. They had their opinions and you could respect that. They didn't try to force you, but make their case why they think it's good. Now tech feels driven by trend chasing, fear, scale, revenue comparisons, endless games and everyone talks their book. Investors come first, business goals next, and users last if not at all. I wish there would still someone like Steve still around

I'm worried about Figma Make failing here. Credits are way too expensive and go by too fast. I pay $240/M for 10K credits (on top of whatever I already pay Figma). 10K credits ran out in 2 hours on Version 11. That's unusable right there. They reset every 10 days. TEN DAYS!

I paid the $99 or whatever for Runway so I could use seedance 2 unlimited but they threaten to ban me if I use an auto-clicker to click the generate button every 15 minutes because I don't want to sit there pressing a button like a monkey. I mean, I paid for it, what's the difference if I manually click it every 15 minutes vs having a program do it?

One of my favorite artifacts from designing Wakandan tech for Black Panther. I loved this layout & color scheme, so I made a cyan alternate just so I could say "this is what any other movie would do". Sometimes 'proof-of-non-concept' is very persuasive tool.

@REVOLVO_OCELOTS For real human, byteplus might require users to do live verification with phone camera to get consent. For famous IPs, we would need legal documents to whitelist the feature. Currently the model will moderate these unverified human face reference.

@ohey_official @samal_lagnajit Probably need to use a program like processing. So that you can add scripts for spacing, spread, and repel elements so the individual elements fill the globe better.

I tried to recreate the complex sphere using @samal_lagnajit 's script, and I think the result looks pretty solid to me. Might just do what everyone else is doing—15s eye candy with Seedance 2.0. I’m at 2:30 runtime for my new short film using Dreamina + Topview AI Unlimited… this is tough doing solo.

Built a modular and dynamic CHUNK type system component in @framer using React and pure CSS. I created a responsive construction system first, then hand crafted every single letter and number in CSS so each glyph has its own structure, balance and character. As the frame changes, the typography reshapes rather than just scales. Part font, part layout engine, part self-inflicted obsession.
