@johnhelmuth_ thanks, i did figure that out eventually! Now just using auto mode and it's working fine. They should just make auto the default!

@prd_008 That toggle doesn’t turn it on. It just allows you to select it. In your session you still need to select Full Permissions. Then every time after that it will start as full permissions until you change it to another mode.

Going to start using Claude Code/Cowork in the app exclusively for personal projects over the next month. Thoughts will be shared live as they arise in this thread!

Documentation is a product experience, not just a place to find answers. Tell the new OpenAI docs assistant what you’re building. It can even create a custom guide for your project that you can then hand off to Codex! Congrats @kagigz on shipping this! 👏
