Morning, A request for help: I recently moved up north (near Bolton) and I’ve been on supply ever since. I need a permanent job. Science teacher. 20yrs exp. Schools don’t always advertise on the TES so if anyone knows anyone, please pass this on? I’d really appreciate it!

I lead two primary schools. Homework is inherently inequitable. Children should not need homework to succeed in their learning - the school day should be sufficient.

Do “teaching and learning lead” roles exist anymore?? I’m not talking about AHT roles or T&L as part of a teaching role but more a non-class based, working across a few schools teaching and learning lead??? If you do this role, hit me up!! I have questions!!! 🤍

@MissKhan__ Sure! Class teacher- key stage leader- vice principal- local authority advisor and now director of learning for a MAT across north of England. Still do lots of teaching , curriculum design, supporting teachers through coaching.
