What a difference an absence of road markings makes to the aesthetics of a street. Connaught Square, Hyde Park Ward 👇

@jeremycorbyn Privatise the lot. It’s a shambles designed 80 years ago and needs urgent reform. Billions of taxpayers money poured into a failed organisation.

Rumours suggest a massive disagreement has broken out over the Green Party’s decision to hold a “bondage event” to launch the party’s local election campaign. Many Islamists, including the Green’s deputy in England and Wales are furious that such a shameful act took place in their name. This will cost Polanski a huge amount of Islamist votes.

How on earth does the sacking of Scott Mills become the lead item on the BBC One O'Clock news. I know the BBC loves nothing more than to obsess about itself, but is this really a bigger news story than what is going on in Iran or energy prices?

Any member of the Labour Party around in 2016-2020 knows all too well the kind of issues coming for the Green Party. There’s a lot of people removed for very good reason who have found a home in the Greens. It should’ve been a huge red flag.

@Gda1238 @DuncanHegan1 @rvh1t To any ordinary person these observations must be completely impossible to understand and irrelevant. The key messages in the Bible are lost.

@DuncanHegan1 @rvh1t Don't clergy realise that much could be accomplished if they just got on with looking after their flocks and getting on with it rather than trying to outdo one another and point scoring on social media? Just winds me up 🙂

Apostolicae Curae is wrong. The Anglican reply (Saepius Officio, linked in replies) explains why. By Leo XIII’s logic, most Roman Catholic orders are invalid as well.
Robbert Leusink@robbertleusink

'Absolutely null and utterly void' That was Pope Leo XIII's verdict on Anglican ordinations in 1896 His argument was exact: when the Anglican rite changed the ordination ritual in 1550, apostolic succession broke The seat of Canterbury has been vacant since 1558

There is a particular kind of weariness that settles over you when watching anti-West radical activists on tour. It is the predictability of watching chic revolutionaries attempting to cosplay as ‘resistance fighters’ or Che Guevara, while maintaining their strictly non-negotiable requirement for a good air con system, functioning minibar and high thread Egyptian cotton bed linen. ✍️ Liz Walsh Article | spectator.com/article/the-ri…
