If loving bollards is wrong I don't want to be right

The question is, which great Western city has solved this problem? Some of the signals would be: - a significant reduction in car ownership in the city - improvements in health outcomes (measured by PHE) - a return of independent shopping, with grocers & butchers in walkable distance, milk floats a common sight, and money laundering fronts starting to recede - a strengthening of the rent-paying local economy, i.e. where workers can afford a mortgage on a local dwelling So that disqualifies Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Brussels & Barcelona. But are there other candidates?

Just insanity that we can not for a few hours close the roads to vehicles.

@ClarkeMicah Mathematically, lines times the number of trains. Car travel freed the plebs from their slums; trains are a backward step.

Parking on a single yellow line on a Sunday for free in the West End needs to end. Pay for your privilege and the unnecessary congestion you cause.

Esto es libertad y progreso. Ir en bici es de hippies colgaos.

He rattles down the London street Crackling exhaust and restless feet Engine screams at every light A desperate song into the night Some men chase with noise and speed The things their ego thinks they need He flaunts a big car to mask defeat But his tiny dick will never compete

Family, Community, Country…and cars. Whether it’s blanket 20mph ,ULEZ or LTNs, people feel penalised just for driving, people don’t see safety they see a system that’s fleecing them! End the racket on May 7.

Hundreds of cyclists stage illegal ride over the Brooklyn Bridge. And a roller skater. Not kidding.
