History of Khorâsân and the Persianate World
FunFact: The name of “Hormuz” (Persian: هرمز) comes from the Middle Persian word “Ōhramazdē”, the name for the principal deity in the Zoroastrian tradition (“Ahura Mazda”). So basically the “Strait of Hormuz” means the “Strait of God”.

@Savakzadeh We are told Iran is a death cult and no one is allowed to criticize the government. So how come he can do tv shows being VERY critical of the government?

Interesting clip from an Interview with Masoud Pezeshkian! “Before the revolution when the Turks visited Iran they got jealous of our roads, now on a 100km road they have built 70-80 tunnels, when we build 4 tunnels we are proud!” 🤣 He then goes on to say “BEFORE the revolution (during Pahlavi dynasty) I was a soldier in Zahedan. My salary was only 1800 toman/month. A Honda motorbike costed 1250 toman. Now I’m a full professor of medicine, super-specialized, a heart surgeon and with 3 months salary I can’t even buy one Honda. It seems Pezeshkian is secretly a huge fan of the Pahlavi dynasty 🤣

@AO1865 You’re from Nottinghamshire; leave the city itself and you’ll see plenty of lovely areas in the county alone. Turn that frown upside down.

An Iranian woman films her neighborhood being bombed by Israel. As she seeks cover, Israel strikes again, in what appears to be a double-tap strike. The woman films her own death. Some Iranians in the diaspora dance and celebrate this, believing these are democracy bombs...

Ambassador Seibert finds it very difficult to condemn attacks against Israelis without bringing up the Palestinians. His obsession with Jews living in Judea and Samaria prevents him from even condemning the death of a Jew caused by a Palestinian. Good to know that a new ambassador will soon arrive - one who will strengthen Israel-Germany relations.

President Trump, many Iranians recognize and appreciate your strong stance against the regime and your willingness to confront it. At the same time, we respectfully urge you to reconsider any action that targets Iran’s power infrastructure. That is exactly what the regime and the IRGC want. Destroying power plants would not weaken them. It would plunge ordinary people into darkness, suffering, and chaos while those in power remain protected. This would give the regime the opportunity to tighten its control and shift the blame onto external forces, strengthening its position instead of weakening it. @realDonaldTrump #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran #KingRezaPahlavi

@realDonaldTrump @POTUS President Trump, Preserving Iran’s infrastructure—such as power plants—does not matter to the commanders of the IRGC. For them, preventing the bombing of Khomeini’s tomb matters more than protecting power stations or refineries. Use force to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and dismantle the Islamic Republic. The people of Iran support strikes against the IRGC’s military and repressive capabilities and the removal of its corrupt and criminal officials and commanders. They would be grateful for your help in bringing down the Islamic Republic. However, attacks on power plants will only increase the suffering of ordinary people, especially when they already lack access to the internet. The regime does not care about the destruction of economic infrastructure—because neither Iran, nor its people, nor its infrastructure matter to them. They only care about staying in power. That’s all. The people of Iran stand with the United States and Israel. Attacking power plants could reduce that support. Focus on dismantling their military strength and tools of repression instead.

Why the power plants?! Hit Mosques, Mausoleum of Khomeini, and hundreds of their religious halls and Basij’s gatherings and see the regime will collapse within 48-72 hours! @realDonaldTrump @netanyahu @IDFFarsi
