@jeremyrooks @JustinJBasch Never said it was a bad thing. It’s a hunch on how they get so few transfers out. PSU “JV” team could probably place top 10 at NCAAs. All the PSU glazers say it’s “the culture” as why the guys stay- sure maybe to a degree, but they also have deep pockets & NLWC has big time $$$
English

@slice157 @JustinJBasch But honestly, is this a bad thing? Why shouldn’t all colleges adopt this model?
English

@PSUHotshoe @ufan9295761 @JustinJBasch Appreciate you taking time to respond twice. 🤣 Good stuff bud.
English

@slice157 @JustinJBasch Says the ignorant Penn State hater. Keep those tears coming.
English

@BWessel9009 @JustinJBasch I agree. Between scholarships + other compensation I’m sure guys are satisfied + knowing if they make the lineup they can AA. Guys leaving/staying is net neutral. I think there’s more to the equation than simply “it’s the culture” explaining why guys don’t leave to be a starter
English

@slice157 @JustinJBasch Pay for performance is fair but holding off pay until they graduate will never happen there will always be some sort of money up front and the most likely route will be to lower that number and give bonuses based on performance.
English

@ufan9295761 @JustinJBasch Must’ve struck a chord. Keep it moving Mr. Rational
English

@slice157 @JustinJBasch You have no actual knowledge on any of the things you assert yet you assert them like concrete facts. Your ass must get jealous of the shit your mouth spits out.
English

@ufan9295761 @JustinJBasch You have no clue how I value money 🤣
these guys-like Cunninghams kid, have guaranteed $$ at the end of their career, & it’s substantially more than they would earn by transferring somewhere else, why leave? Clearly they value the $$ more than the opportunity to compete for less
English

@slice157 @JustinJBasch I'd compare it to finding a job that you truly love and have interest in. Most people probably still take the higher pay. But some will value other things more and take the pay cut. PSU is very good at not just finding elite talent, but guys who truly want to be there
English

@BWessel9009 @JustinJBasch Pay them through the NLWC. NCAA has no jurisdiction or ruling. Most schools are moving towards pay for performance rather than all guaranteed money up front. Has burnt a lot of programs front loading all the money.
English

@slice157 @JustinJBasch You also cant get a year with a wrestler have them transfer out and no longer have to pay them for that year thats not fair to the wrestlers that have real reason to transfer out and is a blatant ripoff and violation of the NIL concept.

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire.
It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane
It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs.
Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ?
Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us.
Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.

@PetersburgrKing You're a clown.
Go talk to Askren about him; he'll tell you this is sincerely who the guy is.

Its a brilliant bullying move.
MM gets to "look" like a good guy while rubbing it in everyone's face that he beat the hell out of them.
If they dont play along, he looks even better and THEY are the a-holes.

When Mitchell Mesenbrink got to the podium, he went through and shook the hand of the other All-Americans at 165 - all but Mikey Caliendo’s. When Mesenbrink stuck out his hand to the Hawkeye, Caliendo refused to acknowledge him. Mesenbrink shrugged and moved on.
