@PorcDalmatian @Lib_Development Exactly&I explained how it DOES require more labor the more expensive your wine/dish is. Not all labor is PHYSICAL labor. Ur paying for knowledge/curation/time spent learning/etc. For the same reason someone is willing to drop 300 on a bottle—theyd be willing to tip appropriately

A 300$ bottle of wine requires more work like being decanted, specific glassware, special presentation, knowledge of the bottle like how/where/when it's made. It's not just pouring wine in a glass, it's an experience. Just say you're broke and gooo

@Lib_Development Tipping as a percentage has never made sense. Why should the waiter get a bigger tip for bringing me a $38 plate of steak vs. a $23 plate of chicken? Why should he get a bigger tip for opening a $300 bottle of wine versus an $80 bottle of wine? It’s THE SAME LABOR
