$HOOD will offer a 15% rebate on commissions for all event contracts from January 10–12. This coming weekend should see one of the weakest volumes in the last month or so, with no CFB games and only 6 NFL games (compared to about 16 per weekend during the regular season). Robinhood appears to be trying to avoid the expected January volume dip compared to December, and this initiative could help drive higher volumes. If it has success and they bring in more volume, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it repeated more often throughout 2026. Again, the Robinhood team is not step ahead. Not surprising at all 🚀
